As people who travel the country we come across a lot of different hospitality but none as great as this location. “I have stayed at the Best Western Prescottonian many times over the years and was interested to see this restaurant take over the long-vacant space. On this occasion, I was with a group of ten - 7 teens and 3 adults. We decided to give Mi Tierra Mexicana a try. First, we were warmly greeted at 7:20pm, and the staff gladly prepared for us a table for ten without wait or complaints. Our drink orders were quickly taken and served - waters all around, along with chips and salsa. The chips had good flavor, crispness, and thickness. The salsa tasted very fresh and was nicely flavored - just the right amount of heat and lots of other flavors! I ordered a shredded beef Chimichanga, and my son ordered a burrito entree. The portions were very large, and we didn't leave hungry. Both items were high quality and nicely seasoned. The shredded beef was delicious without adding salsa, and the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The beans and rice were good, and the portions filled the large plates. Others in our party tried various dishes, and the taco salad bowl was especially popular. No one had any complaints, and there was a lot of sampling of each other's dishes. In the end, we had a fantastic time, enjoyed our service and our food, and spent just under $20 per person, including tax and gratuity. I will look forward to returning here on a future trip and will crave the taste in the meantime.”

“April 23, 2024 Only their second day open and there was an approx 20 minute wait time. However... The employees were HUSTLING! We were greeted so nicely and seated. A wonderful server came by, got our drinks, and explained where the clean plates were. This restaurant is CLEAN! The buffet areas are well sorted and kept clean and organized. I got one or a small serving of almost everything I wanted to try and ran out out of space on my plate! The fried shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp, crab and cheese rangoons, stuffed mushrooms, and egg rolls we're my favorites! I didn't even bother with their fresh salad bar, fresh fruit bar, and was basically too full for desserts! The seating is comfortable... The white chairs are great! The lighting is so nice but not intrusive over the table.”

“Mac's Dogs offers simple, yet expertly prepared food. I tried their Chicago dog and it was a perfect rendition of this classic favorite. The fries were exceptional as well—just really good fries. I would gladly enjoy their offerings any day of the week. Mac's Dogs also caters to those with dietary restrictions. My mom tried their vegan dog and found it to be perfect for her, especially since she can't eat beef without it causing stomach issues. “While the service is iffy. The place used to be called Shannon's (name of the owner's ex-wife), now named Russo's (probably until he gets a new wife lol). The wait time can be a bit much for what you order. The prices are rather high, store hours remain inconsistent for months on end. This is due to the high turnover rate. The owner is usually the one making your food. Grievances aside, this place offers the BEST cheesecake that I've ever had! You come to a place for good food first, and while the service here is debatable. Take a chance on it. I recommend the caramel cheesecake.”

“Don't play the fireworks slot machines. It was so disappointing and greedy. I love playing slots, I don't have to win, it's just fun when the game plays - give and take. This game in particular though, was just guzzling $20's without any payout even though the fireworks were all lit. We stayed the night here, as we rode a motorcycle to Jerome to eat & it was too late and too cold to drive all the way home. The room was $177 per night and ended up totaling $200. The bed was not comfortable sadly. We also ate breakfast in the cafe. This is where the 3 stars were gained. Even though it took about 20 minutes to get service, the food was satisfying and our waiter was so kind and pleasant. The eggs Benedict was cooked deliciously and our whole food order was served well.”

“My husband and I decided to try Salt & Pepper Cafe after seeing all the posts on social media after it’s grand opening. This place was amazing and the food did not disappoint! We ordered the Monte Cristo Brioche Toast, Sweet Potato Hash, Brioche French Toast with berries, and a BLT. The fresh-squeezed orange juice and coffee were also amazing. “The food gives this place the rating, the service while personable and pleasant was adversely affected by a lack of staff and deducts a star. We were there at lunchtime.. The bartender, Andre, was waiting tables and trying "chat" with the bar patrons...(if you're a bartender, chatting up the bar patrons is part of the job so I don't fault him for that). We had a Caesar Salad with chicken, Scotch egg, chicken wings and shepherd's pie, twice baked potato, fries...and Guinness...The salad was excellent with a very large complement of chicken...but dressing was requested "on the side" and was already mixed into the salad. The Scotch egg was excellent and an ample sized (4 halves) portion. The twice baked potato was excellent! The fries were a surprisingly large serving, piping hot and crispy. The shepherd's pie was good but not excellent, nothing "wrong" just not a "standout." The wings were excellent. I had "sticky toffee pudding" for dessert. It was the smallest portion I've ever been served, it was accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. It was very good but, after generous portions of everything else, it came as a bit of a shock to see something about the size of a thick silver dollar being served as the sticky toffee dessert.”

“We moved up to Prescott from Phoenix about three years ago. And ever since moving, we have always used Good2Go for gas and snacks, etc. We love this location! The employees have always been so good to us. They’ve gotten to know my husband & me and our kiddos! They’ve also gotten to know our other family members as well.
