The cashier could have been a little more helpful explaining that the burgers come plain and you add what you want, or at least ask "have you been here before and know our ordering process?". That's more training on management though, but just FYI if it's your first time.”

“I happened to be in the middle of nowhere, so I of course decided to make a visit to try out the famous Date Shake. (In all seriousness, this is a great rest stop / gas station on the way to Yuma or San Diego). Anyway, try that Date Shake! It’s super delicious and totally worth it. If you’re on the fence, get the smaller size, but I got the large and am glad I did. It had a very unique flavor. Like the other reviews said, a bigger straw would have been a bit more helpful. Definitely plan to come back if I’m ever in the area again. Thank you!!”

I ordered the Coop Mac and Cheese (medium heat, pickles and sauce on the side) and the seasoning had very good flavor and the pickles just added that perfect little crunch (the hot sauce was too spicy for me). The Mac and cheese was very good as well, my daughter loved it also. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles (mild) and the flavor of that seasoning was very good as well, slightly sweet with that good heat. The waffles were fresh and delicious. All of the portions were so big and filling for the price. Great little place”
