“Came here with a friend that said this place is pretty good. I had the turkey. I enjoyed how it fell apart easily with my fork and it was easy to chew. The BBQ sauce was good with it. The beans I had with my turkey were good too. The staff were all very nice as they chatted with us when they weren't helping other customers. Shorty wasn't there but they did call him over when we asked if he was around. He sat and talked with is for the duration of our meal. I'd go here again if in the area so I could try out some different meats and see how well each one is. I'd recommend coming in at least one to try out your favorite BBQ meat. I ended up trying out the cherry cobbler for desert even though cherry isn't a fruit I care much for. It's actually pretty darn good and I'd recommend trying it too.”

“The most tender, succulent catfish anywhere. The crust is light and flaky…it’s pure perfection. They know how to fry a fish filet. Whew.”

“I had an iced coffee with buttered rum flavor and all the fixings! It was delicious! I also got the biscuits and gravy. The price point was perfect and the taste was divine! I could have had a double order because it was so good. It came with two biscuits for $3.25. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by if you're in the area. The owners are super kind and didn't mind my toddler running around at all. They were very nice, and I enjoyed the pleasant conversation. The food is made from local ingredients as well. They're only open for a few hours from Tuesday to Saturday, so make sure to take that into account. It's absolutely worth it.”

“This place was recommended by a neighbor. We decided to give it a try. Restaurant was fairly empty. Plenty of on-site parking. Plenty of Indoor and outdoor seating available. It was a little cold today to sit out on the deck, but the view is spectacular. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Swiss chicken sandwich with fries and the BBQ nachos. My husband loved the Swiss chicken sandwich. My BBQ nachos were okay; good, but not the best I've ever had. They have daily lunch and dinner specials. Only downfall was everything on the menu was more expensive compared to other places (*inflation?*)Definitely worth a try”
