“Not a 5 star restaurant, but decent prices. Many hot items are nuked in the microwave (breakfast sandwiches, kolaches, biscuits and gravy, etc.). However, they are quick to get you in and out, and the prices are reasonable. There's definitely an English language barrier at times, but excellent service nonetheless. “When we first walked in there were dishes pilled up and no where clean even the bar had dirty dishes we sat in back where the pool table is.. I saw cobwebs in thr corner and water coming from under the base boards by the pool sticks.. We almost left but decided to give you a try. Glad we did.The food was fantastic the ribs ( didn't have a grill smokey taste to them) but, they were good and fall off the bone barque sauce little sweet. Our Server this young lady was amazing in customer service getting everything correct. She worked in the bar area blonde hair in a ponytail two children. It seemed when she got there everything got put in its proper place. So, we hope the company values this young lady in more than monetary. We will definitely return. Also, the owners need to let viewers know your restaurant is inside the Holiday Inn. We did have a time locating it. And we had to ask someone at the gas station across the street that told us it was inside the HOLIDAY INN..... And the parking was not good the handicap was nice and close but, getting out was a chore. We had to back out of the parking lot.”

“My family and I went to Damgoode Pies on 5/15/2022. We walked in and let them know we needed a table for nine. They reluctantly said they have no wait staff, and only two employees working, so we would have to wait in ourselves. That was perfectly fine, so we grabbed a couple of tables and moved them together, then went to the bar to place an order for drinks and appetizers. We ordered Fred Bread, and it came out quickly and perfectly. After the rest of my family arrived, I wrote down our order and went to the bar to place it. I ordered a 1 large The Greek stuffy with red sauce, 1 large Classic Pepperoni stuffy with red sauce, 1 10 inch Chicken Supreme with red sauce, a 10 inch Hand tossed BBQ chicken, and cheese sticks for my 10 month old granddaughter. They came out to the table to let us know that there is minced garlic on the cheese sticks, and asked if we wanted the garlic omitted since it was for the baby. Mama said garlic is good, but please slice the cheese sticks very small. Next thing I know, the cheese sticks were ready, and the baby went to town on them. She couldn’t eat the whole thing, so a few of us helped a little. The cheese sticks were perfect. I told them to yell when the pizzas were ready, because I would go get them and bring them to our table. He thanked me . But he didn’t yell. I just happened to glance up and see the pizzas being sliced and set on the counter to be brought to the table, so I jumped up to help. He made sure I didn’t burn myself on the pans. I only had The Greek, because that’s my favorite, but every single person said the pizzas were amazing. I know The Greek was phenomenal. I’m glad I got the large so I can have leftovers, which I will not share. They came to ask if we needed boxes, and I met him at the counter so he didn’t have to bring them out. I bussed our table, putting the waste in the trash and handing the plates and pizza pans to him. My husband moved the tables back and I put the high chair back. They thanked us for helping out so much. But that pizza was so good, I swear it was one of the best Damgoode Pies I’ve had. Check out these pictures. Cheesy perfection. “I’ve been to the other location, so I was expecting the same quality of food and service. The server, Jasmine, was very nice, and she took care of us. However, the food was half and half. I ordered a shrimp basket in the shrimp was cooked golden brown and tastes very good. But when he came to the catfish, that was something else. You could tell it was cooked in old grease because it was very dark and two of my friends had the same thing and we all said it had the same taste in common: SALTY!! Omg it was extremely salty as soon as you’ve been into it. Someone who has blood pressure issues would definitely be in trouble if they ate that. There was a white, older lady with glasses (who claimed she was the manager) that came and told one of my friends that she could not give her a refund and she could not pick something else off of the menu, but the only thing she could do was have the same exact thing remade. That was very sketchy to me, because any restaurant that I have gone to, if someone isn’t satisfied with what they ordered, they are typically offered either a refund or a selection of some thing else on the menu. So, when our server came back, I asked her if that was true, that my friend could only get the same exact thing remade, and she said that was not true. The lady claimed she was the manager and we didn’t get her name but I feel that was very poor customer service for the hospitality industry. To be told that you cannot have a refund for something that was not prepared to your liking is not something I would imagine anybody wants to hear. I would be very upset. If I am basically being told that my hard earned money is not going to be given back to me. One of my other friends also had to ask for her crab to be replaced because the crab she had was old and you could visibly see it. Overall, I don’t know if I would go back to this location. I went to the location on University and had no issues with the food nor service. If you do, choose to go here, please take into consideration that this particular lady is not willing to replace an item or refund you your money if it is not prepared properly and this is no fault of your own.”

“It's Pizza Hut trying to sell wings as well. They've got a weekly deal on Wed on those. I never have, I just get pizzas. I'll try other places occasionally but these are my standard. The only thing that's ever wrong is that they mostly don't cut the crust all of the way thru, leaving a pizza with only 4 pieces. Those 4 pieces DO fit much better in my diet than 8, so no harm, no foul.”

“Decided to make a trek to the Purple Cow looking for a good, inexpensive local eat for lunch today. This restaurant hit all the checks. The food was good, the atmosphere was a cool old school diner feel with 50's and early 60's tunes on the radio. When we arrived we were sat in our booth promptly and soon after our waitress came by to take our orders. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was what you would expect from a diner, the burger I had was very good and my Dad was thoroughly impressed with his club sandwich especially for the price. One thing I HIGHLY recommend is the chocolate milkshake, it was simple but, fantastic. I am extremely satisfied with The Purple Cow, a great place to sit down and eat!”
