Staff was awesome! Very courteous & attentive. Food was great! Very fresh & a perfect portion size. I highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice.

The breakfast here is great and it's a good place to come with kids. The waffles and pancakes were made just right (the kids really enjoyed them). The tofu scramble was delicious. And their scrambled eggs with a side dish was filling. I highly recommend.

Outstanding customer service and amazing food. One of the better brunch spots in Berkeley. Even though our order was lost, leading to a long delay, it was still a great experience because the manager (owner?) Joseph thoroughly apologized and made it up to us.

We were in town and wanted to check out the Berkeley campus so we stopped here before for breakfast. Food was good and the staff was friendly. It is right across the street from Berkeley.

I’ve been going here for about three years now, and am something of a regular at this point. The staff is attentive, friendly and have always been very accommodating of my severe food allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, and fish are the top ones). The food is excellent, and so is the coffee.

My favorite: I recommend the red chilaquiles, which isn’t on the menu, but they frequently have it as a special. My least favorite: I’m not a fan of the breakfast burrito, as it’s too big, overstuffed, etc to eat by picking it up. It isn’t a place you can sit all day and do work (it can get busy, especially on the weekends), but if you need a hot meal and an hour or so of writing time, their upstairs seating is cozy and downright idyllic. Bonus: if you want to come back for more, they have a “frequent flyer” card that you can get signed every time you visit. If you eat there nine times, the tenth meal is free. Just ask for the card at the front.
