Expensive and small portions. No problem with service. Still giving it 4 stars because the food was pretty good and it still has a lot of vegan options to choose from including vegan knafeh for dessert.
Good food. Not your typical middle eastern place, different spices and menu items.
Wife & I came for dinner last night for the first night of restaurant week around 8:30 without a reservation. We were told 15-20 min wait, but they offered us seats at the bar about 5 minutes later and we accepted. It was busy and we were a little concerned that they were in the weeds. However, the bartender took pretty good care of us and the three courses were delivered at just the right intervals, something that I appreciate.
The food here was excellent. Portions for the three course meal were perfectly sized - just enough to share each other's selections and we didn't leave hungry. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared and the flavor profiles were on point and well balanced. The salmon baklava was intriguing and very tasty. Stuffed avocado was delectable. The duck was perfectly cooked and very tasty.
Tables are very close to each other and there a communal table, so not ideal if you're looking for a quiet, private meal. But that doesn't bother us so all good.
A little pricey normally, but the $10/person discount for restaurant week made it just right for our first experience here. Would eat here again!
Amazingly tasty place. Mix of Turkish and Mediterranean food. A little bit pricy but worth to go.
