“DOES STEVE LIM WORK HERE!? WE WERE TOO SHY TO ASK! We were craving dumplings and came here after spending all morning at the botanical garden. The noodles were good but the chicken tasted a little weird. However, the A.01 Shanghai-style streamed pork dumplings were so super good! We order two of them and was completely full at the end. The staff was super friendly and nice. We will be come back here for dumplings again ^.^”

“Just saw this pop up where the old little caesars Pizza used to be. Decided to stop by and give it a shot. Got a large cup n crisp pepperoni pizza and the pesto cheesy bread. It was amazing! All of the staff and the manager on duty were very friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and great pizza and will definitely be back to try more of the menu. 10/10, will eat again.”

“Our family bought a Christmas Eve lunch from Cali Alley. And wow, it was delicious. Firstly, it seemed that they were taking all the appropriate COVID precautions (which I appreciate). Secondly, the food was all incredible. Everything was packaged neatly. The short rib specifically was my favorite. It was so tender and had a great, bright flavor. We also had the blueberry cheesecake. The crust, oh my! I need the recipe!! Overall, I had a great experience with Cali Alley and hope to buy more soon.”

“With Taco & Co having just opened this week, I went in curious to see how their new shop would hold up to the restaurants in the AG. After trying their al pastor tacos, quesabirria, and horchata, I'm excited to say that Taco & Co exceeded all of my expectations! The food hit the spot (just the sort of comfort food you would need late at night), and their spiciest hot salsa was the perfect mix of kick and flavor. Their taco tortillas were hand made, and held up well with time, meaning you could easily grab the food and hike onto campus without worry. Their service was great, and their cashier, Danny, provided a super welcoming experience for all of their customers. While I was waiting for my food, we struck up a conversation, and he seemed like a really cool guy. That being said, the food was a bit slow to come out, but I think with time, it'll be running smoothly as the restaurant ages. All in all, their food was great; their service, exceptional, and I'll definitely be coming back.”

“Loved the food at Plátano. As a Salvadoran it’s nice to see a restaurant that is dedicated to bringing traditional food to you. Came at lunch time for my father’s birthday to celebrate. Very heavy plates with handmade tortillas. Only issue I had is towards the back of the restaurant it’s a bit dark and not a lot of lights turned on so it gives the restaurant a bit of a gloomy vibe. If more lights were turned on it would be a lot better, but the food is definitely worth it! Hope to come back soon :)”

“I was on my way to TJ after driving 577+ miles overnight stopping once for gas I was exhausted couldn't even sleep during daytime and pretty much hungry as well. Driving on MLK I noticed A-frame sidewalk sign touting mexican food special. This place was home to Baiano Pizzeria not sure what happen to them gone are the cozy-like lounge chair and square cube ottoman in place with basic industry furnishings. For the most part they retain some of the past charm colorful mural is eye catching as far as design goes. I walk in and was immediately greeted by girl at counter eager to take my order seemed very happy to be working there. They feature a curated menu standard for tex-mex offering, but they went beyond what is consider traditional (lengua and tripe) offering that will definitely bring me back. I went ahead pick trio taco pollo, carne asada, carnitas everything was delicious and fresh well-made loaded with mounds of protein and freshly chopped toppings. No matter what you pick for protein, it's perfectly cook and pack with flavors. And if that wasn't enough tortilla chips were warm and crispy yield small amount of oil barely noticeable to fingers. After wolfing down first taco I knew this place have something going for them and it will only get better as they go along. Cash or credit/debit no minimum.
