“Food is pretty good but service here is a joke. As soon as we sat down and had not yet ordered, we were being served two plates of food to which we said “this must be a mistake because we haven’t ordered yet”. In 5 minutes, another server brings out two plates for us and we still hadn’t ordered yet, so we repeated the same message. In another minute or so, the exact same thing happened again! It was hilarious, they finally came to take our order shortly after and we got our food soon after, surprisingly the order we had place wasn’t messed. After observing them for the first ten minutes I was sure this place is authentic because service sucks, the servers aren’t being polite, they’re nodding their heads. Felt like being back in the middle of Chennai :)”

“Great nutritious sandwich and hearty soup spot. Good but small desserts. Who eats big desserts when being health minded. I still want a big dessert. Moderately priced. Plenty of staffing but very busy during lunch hours due to vicinity of business, schools, and Washington hospital mega medical center. Kaiser and city Services employees also are patrons. Can walk off that meal and go to Whole foods or Sees Candies. Cool Mediterranean restaurant as a neighbor. Walking is better during lunch, parking can get competitive.”

“Hooray for Subway restaurants. If there's nothing else good around then Subway will come to the rescue for you. I always get the same sandwich and that is an Italian BMT on wheat flatbread. It is pretty good, you should try it someday. You just might like it.”

“The nigiri sushi is excellent and you gotta love that you can get real crabmeat California rolls, but make sure the specialty roll you get is fresh because I had some stale tempura sprinkles on my spicy tuna roll and it wasn't that great.”

“My co-workers and I have found THE taco spot in Newark! They're not super greasy, they're generous with the meat, not salty...just perfect! The only con is that they only take cash... BIG PRO: you can call ahead and place an order so you don't waste your precious lunch time waiting for the taquero to prepare it. Tacos are $2 each”

“Apparently, this place is run by real life angels. Twice in Fremont I have been somewhat stranded due to circumstances completely within and both times this layer of warmness, excellent food and tremendous service. Castro approved, and he knows Mexicans more than I do. He is Cuban but smokes the whitest cigarette known to man, Marlboro lights or whites. Thanks El Patio. Heaven sent!”

“Fun restaurant with great food and warm cozy ambiance. Just come prepared to wait, as they don't take reservations and also have a very busy take out business that is competing for the staff's attention. But definitely yummy food.”

“Amazing food. Don't forget the rice! I made the mistake to order to go and not specifically order rice. You must ask for rice. It says something about how much I liked the food that they still get 5 stars when I didn't get any rice!”

“This place is awesome. It looks like it's been here for a really long time and has an old mom and pop restaurants feel complete with cinder block walls wooden tables and chairs. The food is fantastic. Although the name is Bob's Hoagy steaks they also offer a great fish and chips plates and surprisingly there tofu vegetable stir-fry is also off the chain. You can't go wrong with the classic cheese steak sandwich with my preference being the steak with provolone mushrooms onions and bell peppers. The walls encounters offer a wide selection of various hot sauces for you to dump on your sandwich and food should you choose to do so. The restaurant also has a small salad buffet bar if you want to go a bit healthier. Their steak cut fries are great and drinks are serves out of the standing refrigerator where you can grab your selection pop the cap or top and drink a way. If you can have your sweet here and avoid taking it to go as it is much better when eating fresh and hot vs minutes later out of a bag if you decide to take it home. If you choose to try this restaurant I am confident that you will return as the food appeals to people of all ages.”

“I love the food at this place. The potato salad is amazing and they are so consistent with it. I wish it was closer to me. My favorite is the roast beef and tomato pita. My friend tends to prefer salad ( don't understand that!) Parking is always available and it appears to be a family business. We will return soon.”

“The pizza here is good, but the venue is a little run down looking. I came here for an event and was put into the small room next to the regular seating. In this small room, it was very cold and dimly lit. We asked to use the TV that was there and were told that the TV did not work.”

“After searching endlessly for a good dumpling place to replace my now-closed goto one, I finally decided to try Full House Dumpling. The wait can be a bit long, as it is usually packed for the weekends. The dumplings are well worth the wait however. They're served in a traditional fashion and comes fresh and steaming hot. I recommend the pork dumplings and the pork with crab. Every dumpling is made just right, stuffed with juicy meat and a bit of broth inside. The thin onion pancakes are also well made, being fried just the right amount. The beef rolls are a bit lackluster with an overpowering beef taste, but I can see how some may enjoy it. Their seafood warm pot compliments the other dishes well, allowing you to reset your taste buds. It is a huge pot however, so I recommend you only ordering it if you have a party of 4 or more. They do offer to-go containers if you don't finish though. Overall, this place is definitely worth a try.”
