Good garlic noodles.
Solid neighborhood "go-to." The Ying-Yang dumplings were yummy (why seven pieces?) but the main course "Dragon and Phoenix" was just good. Not great, not bad, a solid "good." Great people, though and a good vibe.
Good but not great
Environment: I felt at peace here, they have dim lightning that makes you feel welcomed.
Price: reasonable, $9 for 6 dumplings. $13-$15 for entrees.
Service: good service.
I got the following dishes:
1. Potstickers: I could tell they were made fresh. The sauce they came with wasn’t very appetizing. the potstickers had more flavor than the sauce.
2. Coconut curry with chicken: this dish is so SPICY. I had tears in my eye from eating it. My boyfriend says that as he kept eating the dish, the spice subsided.
3. Garlic noodles with shredded pork: highly recommended. It has a butter base and taste somewhat sweet but the sweetness isn’t overwhelming at all. This dish made the whole experience better. It has the perfect seasonings on it. Hat off to the chef!
Would I go back: yes but I won’t be getting anything spicy.
