Had the Italian sub, a bit on the high end of price, but it contains substantial amounts of premium cuts of meat. All the ingredients are fresh and the bread is really good. We ended up getting the order to take home but ate them while we were still there. I just can't recommend this place enough It is so so very good. “Through a Groupon offer, we found this new winery gem in the Foothills in Amador County and were treated to a wonderful tasting of our choice of five wines each. Every wine was very enjoyable, and the service was impeccable. The tasting room is architecturally gorgeous, and the outside patio offers beautiful views of the vineyards while sipping the wine selections. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and tasting and highly recommend this new winery!”

“Fantastic place for dinner. 4 of us had the 75 dollar tasting menu. With one exception every course was perfect. The beef course is cooked sous vide and very rare, not stayed on the menu. One of our party prefers medium cooked beef. The staff immediately redid the dish to her liking. Nice service. Extensive wine list at every price point. “My grandmother recommended this place to my dad and I. Today, my dad and I checked it out. While my dad used the restroom, the owner engaged in conversation with me, which I thought was rather nice because it prevented me from having to sit in awkward silence while I was waiting for my dad so that we could order. My dad got a BLT which he ate in the cafe and he was very impressed and absolutely loved it. I ordered a build-your-own sandwich to go. It had a great flavor and the ingredients were all fresh. One of, if not the greatest, sandwich(es) I’ve ever tasted in our small community. Since I requested no tomato or onion, the owner even offered to add pepperoncini to help give my sandwich a little more substance. That was incredibly thoughtful of him, and the addition turned out to taste fantastic. The setting is inviting and relaxing, the menu is visually appealing and enjoyable to look at, and everything on it sounds delicious. Even the smell inside the cafe is amazing when you first enter. This is a nice place to sit and have a meal because of the attractive aesthetic, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious aromas. I strongly advise stopping by and giving That One Spot a chance. You won’t regret it. And me? I can’t wait to go back and try out other menu items.”

“5 dollar craft beers... in this economy? Count me in!! They have a bunch of seating but little parking. 9 dollar flights (4 pours of 5 oz each). They also do growler fills and have cans to go! The ice cream store next door (Munnerlyns) is also delicious. This bar also has nightly food truck service and they are listed on the website. Welcome to Pine Grove! Hope this business sticks around. I plan on coming back often!”

“Plasse's Resort has a fascinating history well over 150 years. It is a private resort with RV camping. A number of private cabins on leased forest service land. There's an old church and some amazing cabins that were built right on top of the granite. I don't know how many years ago. They have a store, a restaurant horseshoe pits bocce ball. They sell propane and their RV camp area has water hookups. Not sure about electric and sewer. You'll enjoy your visit. We visited the week before the July 4th holiday. A lot of fun activities are on the calendar there. Give him a try.”

“My wife and I took another couple there for Fish & Chips on Saturday and the food was perfecto! My wife (who is originally from England) claimed that these were the best fish & chips she had ever had in America and she has been here for 47 years. Josh the chef did an amazing job - the batter was the prefect thickness and was crispy and flavorful and the fish inside was perfectly cooked and flakey - could not have been better.
