    Benchmark Portavia is my new go-to for a quick bite. I walked in this past Sunday for the first time and discovered that they sell half-price Day Old sandwiches (one mozzarella and one prosciutto). If you are looking for a very quick, cheap bite, that is what you want to get! They are very tasty, simple, and filling. There is a little area near the establishment with benches that I like to sit at when I get food.

    I have walked in at least three times this past week. Service is also very nice and welcoming, which I have found hard to find since moving to the El Cerrito/Albany area. This is my new favorite local spot.

    Just tried the grilled cheese with turkey! Delicious! Try the green salad, enough for two people and so fresh and delicious.
