I have visited The Chicken and The Farm booth at several festivals, (Lafayette Art n Wine two years running now!) Yes the line is long...but SO worth the wait!!! Their display of all the food items makes it easy to pick what to order (or harder because it ALL looks so good!!). The attention to detail of their display of farm antiques and signs makes these guys stand out, but the food and service is what takes it over the top. The Dirty Piggy Fries and the Dirty Bird Wings (in some honey vinaigrette goodness sauce that I could take a bath in), the Honey Her sandwich is delicious too....I look forward to spring time when these festivals start up again and I can run into then and their food again soon! ...and no, it's not cheap, but cheap food ain't good and good food ain't cheap....
Visited chicken in the farm. Stand at Millbrae art and wine festival. Ordered. Waited about 10 minutes. Received. Food service was quick. I got the full farm fries which had brisket pulled pork, crispy chicken farm sauce and barbecue sauce. It was also good. The waffle fries underneath were crispy and flavorful as well. I also got the lobster roll sandwich which was very tasty with lots of garlic, parsley and lemon. Served with a side of chips. Will definitely buy from here again.
