“Great experience with our work holiday dinner! There were 3 tables of 8, and the restaurant reserved the back section for us. Everything went smoothly, and the food was delicious. We ordered 13 dishes for each table ahead of time, and the kitchen had everything prepared and brought out to us at a good pace. I highly recommend this spot if you’re planning a group event. It was affordable and tasty and a festive atmosphere. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, but we never felt lacking in service or attention. “Couple of days left in town before heading back home to vegas. Patron took me by surprise crusin' by no parking though still managed to grab a spot saw elderly couple leaving. Complete overhaul from last taqueria full display of mexican heritage and Mexican-American war era. Average size eatery nothing stood out like a sore thumb just you basic taqueria. I look hard for a menu and gave up that's when I was told not up yet it's on paper for now. There's table service here done by the cashier herself at slower times. I order a trio of taco for USD$2.50 each: fish, shrimp, carnitas and all three were delicious. And here's the reason why--you get grilled fish instead of fried in batter, shrimp is plump and deveined, and carnitas is braised with seasoning. Wash it all down with horchata call it a night back to berkeley. I know this place for many years and am so happy to see their return to Walnut Creek because they a the best kabobs I have had. Atmosphere is casual, good old soft rock to keep the crowd singing. Prices are a little high for the area. If you like to watch TV while you eat, the do have two TV on a football game.
