Willow Line taproom

Address: 330 Terwer Riffle Rd, Klamath, CA 95548, USA

Restaurant

“We stumbled upon this lil out-of-the-way spot after a full day of hiking in the redwoods and it's definitely an area gem!! The food menu was limited but everything was homemade and absolutely delicious - especially the potato salad and pulled pork sandwich. The ambiance was the genuine local flavor we were hoping for - bar was lined with neighbors who all knew each other - but there's gorgeous woodwork art on the walls, and beautiful wood ceilings and furniture. Space was clean and tidy, staff were all very friendly, they've got board games to play, with lots of tasty local beers on tap! I especially enjoyed the SeaQuake chocolate porter and the Humboldt cider. Would recommend!”

“I had the breakfast french toast with sunny side up eggs and 2 bacon strips. The french toast my favorite part I was super hungry after a long drive and ate everything :) my friend had pancakes and eggs but did not finish. I also want to mention the employees were so sweet their hospitality made me feel enthusiastic to explore the area and wander about the trees :) and it is very clean (they let us sit anywhere! Some places choose for you)”

Abalone Bar and Grill

Address: 171 Klamath Blvd, Klamath, CA 95548, USA

Restaurant

“First - if you go here expecting a full-service restaurant, you will be disappointed. It's more like a cafeteria or fast food restaurant in that you order at the corner of the bar, and pick your own food up at the kitchen window. Let’s get to the actual reason you're reading this though - you need to find somewhere to eat in Klamath. This place fits that description well. Although their menu has been pared down from the previous pictures online (I'm posting an updated one with this review), they still offer something for everyone, and at a reasonable price too. No kid's menu, but you could easily split some of the offerings for smaller kids. The soup in bread bowl (when we went) was either chili or clam chowder, and definitely enough for a meal. Overall, the food was made fresh to order and tasted good. So, if you can overlook having to walk the 20 or so steps to pick up your food from the cointer, it's a great option for good food. Side note: If you have kids and are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Klamath, this is the only restaurant that you can eat in within walking distance. It's in the casino next door, which is a smoke free facility.”

“Unbelievable...We came here because it worked with our timeline. We arrived just after they opened and saw they were making hamburger patties by hand. I ordered a patty melt. It was sooo good! Hot and fresh. Please try this place if you are doing a 101 seaside drive.”

The Historic Requa Inn

Address: 451 Requa Rd, Klamath, CA 95548, USA

Restaurant

“Stayed for a few days while exploring the Redwoods on vacation. Booked a riverside room and could not have been happier. The inn was very well kept, and the room was nice and bright and had a super comfy bed. The view of the river and the often foggy (in the morning) valley was unobstructed and was a nice sight to wake up to. There were lots of small touches we noticed that showed that the owners and staff really cared about the place. And the food - just amazing. Had breakfast there every day and did dinner on Sunday. It was a multicourse setup and just absolutely fantastic. Note - you do need reservations for dinner - but it is well worth it. The nearby farm at the top of the hill provides the meal services and the freshness of everything was top notch. We did not spend any time in the downstairs common area due to wanting to explore nature as much as possible, but it is very cozy and nice and quiet. Highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning at some point in the future.”

Woodland Villa Cabins - Restaurant - Market

Address: 15870 US-101 N, Klamath, CA 95548, USA

Restaurant

“We camped in the Redwoods and stopped to see Paul Bunyan at Trees of Mystery. Right down the road is small market with limited wares. It is right next to a gas station. I went looking for a protein rich breakfast for my family and I found so much better. The market has a grill restaurant. For $6, they make delicious breakfast sandwiches of cheese, egg and sausage on a delicious biscuit. One filled me up for hours! Best deal in the Redwoods!”

Forest Cafe

Address: 15499 US-101, Klamath, CA 95548, USA

Restaurant

“We came to visit the Trees of Mystery and were hungry when we arrived here. Good thing there was a cafe here . The inside has interesting decorations to give diners an experience of dinning in the ocean beneath water. I ordered the lumber Jack burger and my wife ordered the sourdough burger. They both came with French fried. We started out with clam chowder soup. Everything was great. The burger were delicious; very close to the best that I have ever tasted. The clam chowder was amazing. The coffee was great. I could taste the quality and the proper brewery of the coffee. The fries were crispy, unlike any fries that I have ever eaten. The servers were very friendly and helpful. Definitely on the list for revisit.”
