“We stumbled upon this lil out-of-the-way spot after a full day of hiking in the redwoods and it's definitely an area gem!! The food menu was limited but everything was homemade and absolutely delicious - especially the potato salad and pulled pork sandwich. The ambiance was the genuine local flavor we were hoping for - bar was lined with neighbors who all knew each other - but there's gorgeous woodwork art on the walls, and beautiful wood ceilings and furniture. Space was clean and tidy, staff were all very friendly, they've got board games to play, with lots of tasty local beers on tap! I especially enjoyed the SeaQuake chocolate porter and the Humboldt cider. Would recommend!”

“We made an impromptu stop at the "cookie mobile" while driving through town, and boy, we're glad we did. We bought one bag each of oatmeal cranberry and Russian tea cookies. These are distinctly different cookies, and both were delicious! I'm just sorry I live out of state.”

“Came here for the first time and love it, drove from Brookings and the family was so nice that they separated all the food so it would stay as fresh as possible. They put all the sauce on the side for me to add later. We ordered one of everything on the menu so we can try everything they had for the day! I was not disappointed, the food was still warm after a 45min drive due to traffic. The cheese puffs are so delicious, loved the beef and broccoli. Had the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the spicy chicken as well as the prawns. Thank you so much for accommodating us since we came right when they were closing for lunch. We truly appreciate your hospitality and understanding. Will definitely be back again for another round of this delicious meal.”

“Honestly walked in not expecting much from this place. Wanted just a quick burger and some fries. However, not only did i receive one of the best burgers i had in this long road trip of mine but also had awesome sweet potatoe fries and onion rings. The burgers were amazing and the service was awesome!!! Honestly there was a good selection of desserts as well but honestly the burgers filled me up. Was ready for a nap and i don't get full that easily. The western was my favorite out of the two but both were amazing. There is not many places i usually stop to get a bite to eat but this one is logged in to my next road trip. Keep it up and will soon be back with some homies and friends 😊”

“Dive bar vibes. Rude bartender. Beers were a decent price. Beer cheese was delicious. Bartender was very rude to non-regulars. After our party ordered, she talked about us to the other customers. Very unprofessional. Pretzels got forgotten for one in our party but was taken care of once we made waiter aware. Updated: from 2 to 3 stars because the waiter was very nice and helpful. He deserves 5 stars.”

“One of the only places open in town, has great indoor outdoor seating and friendly staff. I ordered the homemade chili fries with onions and jalapenos, it was exactly what I was hoping to get.”

“We have wanted to stop here for years but they were not dog friendly. Great news, they have new owners who welcomed us and our doodles. This historic stop is a must do on the way to the Redwoods or exploring the countless outdoor hikes. Enjoy a piece of history, nestled among the forest along a beautiful river. The service was outstanding, and the cocktails were perfect. During our visit we enjoyed live music while watching the sunset over the mountains. Life just feels calmer here. You can stay in the historic Hotel in the original rooms, or in the newly updated dog friendly rooms. This is a great launching point for outdoor adventures. We look forward to returning soon.”

“I had the breakfast french toast with sunny side up eggs and 2 bacon strips. The french toast my favorite part I was super hungry after a long drive and ate everything :) my friend had pancakes and eggs but did not finish. I also want to mention the employees were so sweet their hospitality made me feel enthusiastic to explore the area and wander about the trees :) and it is very clean (they let us sit anywhere! Some places choose for you)”

“First - if you go here expecting a full-service restaurant, you will be disappointed. It's more like a cafeteria or fast food restaurant in that you order at the corner of the bar, and pick your own food up at the kitchen window. Let’s get to the actual reason you're reading this though - you need to find somewhere to eat in Klamath. This place fits that description well. Although their menu has been pared down from the previous pictures online (I'm posting an updated one with this review), they still offer something for everyone, and at a reasonable price too. No kid's menu, but you could easily split some of the offerings for smaller kids. The soup in bread bowl (when we went) was either chili or clam chowder, and definitely enough for a meal. Overall, the food was made fresh to order and tasted good. So, if you can overlook having to walk the 20 or so steps to pick up your food from the cointer, it's a great option for good food. Side note: If you have kids and are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Klamath, this is the only restaurant that you can eat in within walking distance. It's in the casino next door, which is a smoke free facility.”

“Unbelievable...We came here because it worked with our timeline. We arrived just after they opened and saw they were making hamburger patties by hand. I ordered a patty melt. It was sooo good! Hot and fresh. Please try this place if you are doing a 101 seaside drive.”

“Big, fresh juicy bacon jalapeño cheeseburger and crisp yummy garlic fries. Friendly staff and quick service. Limited menu but they ran out of burgers a little after 7pm on a Friday! Clean bathroom-ladies definitely check out the wall art lol.”

“Stayed for a few days while exploring the Redwoods on vacation. Booked a riverside room and could not have been happier. The inn was very well kept, and the room was nice and bright and had a super comfy bed. The view of the river and the often foggy (in the morning) valley was unobstructed and was a nice sight to wake up to. There were lots of small touches we noticed that showed that the owners and staff really cared about the place. And the food - just amazing. Had breakfast there every day and did dinner on Sunday. It was a multicourse setup and just absolutely fantastic. Note - you do need reservations for dinner - but it is well worth it. The nearby farm at the top of the hill provides the meal services and the freshness of everything was top notch. We did not spend any time in the downstairs common area due to wanting to explore nature as much as possible, but it is very cozy and nice and quiet. Highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning at some point in the future.”

“We camped in the Redwoods and stopped to see Paul Bunyan at Trees of Mystery. Right down the road is small market with limited wares. It is right next to a gas station. I went looking for a protein rich breakfast for my family and I found so much better. The market has a grill restaurant. For $6, they make delicious breakfast sandwiches of cheese, egg and sausage on a delicious biscuit. One filled me up for hours! Best deal in the Redwoods!”

“We came to visit the Trees of Mystery and were hungry when we arrived here. Good thing there was a cafe here . The inside has interesting decorations to give diners an experience of dinning in the ocean beneath water. I ordered the lumber Jack burger and my wife ordered the sourdough burger. They both came with French fried. We started out with clam chowder soup. Everything was great. The burger were delicious; very close to the best that I have ever tasted. The clam chowder was amazing. The coffee was great. I could taste the quality and the proper brewery of the coffee. The fries were crispy, unlike any fries that I have ever eaten. The servers were very friendly and helpful. Definitely on the list for revisit.”

“Last night and previous day of 3 night say. Room was still superb. Used the jetted tub which relaxed my muscles from my adventures. Just heavenly. Staff always went above and out of their way to treat me like family. Everyone here from gardener, cleaning staff and front desk staff are the nicest people. If you have dogs you'll love this place they love dogs and the rooms have hardwood floors and tiles which is so nice for dogs and humans. Definitely a place I would stay again. Everyone in town was friendly and helpful too”

“I thought the casino was very clean overall. staff is very friendly, the restaurant had really good food, came in a timely manner. the restaurant staff a wonderful job, I stayed at the hotel , the room is very clean, the bathroom is very clean. several of the items in the bathroom were crooked when they were installed by the maintenance guys but you know who cares. the shower was very clean. the shower head was clean . I used to be a maintenance guy so I look for these things. bed was very clean, sheets were clean, they were changed u could tell. everything look to be wiped down and sanitized. the balcony was clean. the only thing that overall that I did not like was the filtration to get the cigarette smoke out of the casino air. I feel as Seven Feathers has a way better filtration system or at least there's does a better job because when I walk in there I don't immediately get hit with a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. you will smell that but to those that are very sensitive about it probably not going to want to be in the casino very long. but other than that it's four stars I'd recommend it to anybody that likes to gamble and wants a clean room and a good meal!”

“Wow! Just like everyone said, this is the spot. Some of the best food my family has had after traveling all over North America. Definitely want to make reservations but even without it only took maybe thirty minutes at 6:15. You also can get drinks while you wait. Alex, our server, was fantastic! My family and I couldn't have been more impressed with the food at this brewery. We spent way more last night in Newport Beach, and it was good but not as good as this. The nachos with blacked shrimp was the best nachos any of us had had. And we eat nachos a lot. "Snapper is amazing" my mom and everyone. This was the clear winner entree. "Best prepared breaded fried fish I've ever had" from my dad who orders fish and chips everywhere. Jalapeno soup was great, carrot soup was even better, but the clam chowder was pretty amazing, and we get that like every meal. Liked the beer as well, but the food was outstanding.”

“I had the Ruben with Cesar salad on the side and it was all extremely good. Their Cesar dressing has Anchovies in it which weren't noticeable but made for a great taste and I do love me a good salad. Wife had the Cranberry Chicken sandwich and it was even more amazing. Seemed like the spot all the locals came to as well so the place had a great vibe. Highly recommended.”

“It had been awhile since I had food so delicious I literally gobbled it down, but Cristina's is just that good! I had cheese enchiladas with red sauce and delicious rice and beans. The prices are great, the staff are polite and smiling, the atmosphere is cheerful. We were traveling through and now I can't wait to go back!”

“I really enjoyed this fish place. It had its own unique old school tasting fish. The portion sizes were great so you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff were nice but didn’t come around enough if you needed anything. You also have a beautiful out of all windows here so that made it nice and relaxing. The sea lions right outside the door smell a lil so you sometimes catch wind of them. You can tell it’s a old restaurant but it fits in just right. I definitely loved it and want to go back.”

“I had a wonderful visit at House of Jambalaya! Not only is their gluten free Jambalaya INCREDIBLE, they offer other gluten free options and the most delicious cider I’ve ever tasted (honey from Humboldt). The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy, and during their busy dinner service the owner stopped to talk with me about how this restaurant was her and her husband’s dream. They opened a few days before COVID shut businesses down and I am so thankful they made it through because these kind folks are doing amazing things for their community. Support local business, pay them a visit! P.S. I got my order to go, so the picture does not quite represent the presentation.”

“We passed by on the Thanksgiving Day on our trip to Portland. This is one of the only restaurants which is still open. We are extremely thankful and happy to get the Turkey Meal offered by them. It’s one of the best Turkey I have ever get in my life. The meats is so soft, tender, and juice. The sauce is nice as well. The staffs are also very friendly.”
