“We have only been here once, but we LOVED it. Can't wait to get back to Placerville just to have breakfast here. The self serve coffee bar was awesome, 3 different roasts and a decaf, with all the usual coffee mixers. The fresh baked goodies were all OUTSTANDING(we had 4 different types) The pumpkin cookie was my favorite, soft and one of the tastiest cookies I've even had. Lunch was delicious I enjoyed the veggie garden burger. Our favorite thing about Sweetie Pie's was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, smiling, and helpful. We were greeted as we entered and even made a friend and received a recipe while waiting for our food. A family with a dog was even accommodated on the enclosed patio. Wonderful experience, Thank you to everyone there. *Update* we have been back here twice since I did a review and had to lower my rating. We were not greeted at the entrance, and once there was a woman standing there looking at us behind the counter and didn't say a word. When I tried to get her attention so we could be seated she walked away and started talking to someone else. Not the friendly and welcoming service we received the first time. The food is still good, but service was lacking..and it was not busy at all. Willing to try once more, but if the service isn't great it will unfortunately be our last visit.”

The tables and settings were neat and well-designed. The entire restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. Finally, the service was great - our waitress was prompt and polite. “One of the most creative and fun-filled dining experiences I have ever had. Tim really pushes the boundaries of what you can put into a sandwich. His creations astound the mind and palette and make it so challenging to select a sandwich from the menu as you'll want to try so many of the different creative concoctions he's derived. Imagine taking a signature dish from cuisines around the world pairing it with an array of sauces and even snack foods from that region and putting that all in a sandwich. The man is a creative genius. We had the honey walunut prawn sandwich, the cauliflower 65, and Madras Curry fries.”

On to the important stuff: my family tried the sausage sandwich and two of the soups. Everything was excellent. My parents were a little disappointed that bread doesn't come with the soup, but that isn't really a big deal to me *shrug* Sausage is made in house, so I recommend trying it if you get the chance! For lunch, you order and pay at the counter, and they bring the food to your table.”

“Amazing restaurant. The owners were super nice, and this poke was honestly the best we've ever had. It also just looks beautiful. See the pictures! We also got the pork and pineapple dish, which comes dressed in lots of their sauce. The sauces were delicious and the pulled pork was even better. The fruits were fresh. This is the place to eat if you're passing by! It's also conveniently located right next to a huge parking garage, so parking isn't a problem like it is for the other restaurants in the town.”

The service was why I gave it five stars, my water was constantly full, with multiple waiters coming by to serve us. We were sat at a high table which I generally don't enjoy, although this ok was rather comfortable.”
