“Fantastic bbq! Just had pork ribs for lunch amazingly tender, great light smoke flavor. My wife had the trip tip sandwich. It was a little too overcooked but also had amazing flavor. We had three sides, Mac and cheese which was creamy and served hot, Cole slaw which was fresh and flavorful and potato salad which was by far the best. The cornbread was a little dry as well but the honey butter made up for it. Amazingly nice and friendly staff. Clean building. I will be back!”

“Considering that this is a buffet, the restaurant is elegant, well staffed, the service is attentive. There has been some staff turnover, and hope that it was for positive reasons. Staff turnover is always a reflection upon management. There are two sides in the restaurant for seating, the left side is more dim because it's further from the windows; the right side has the best views and the booths reserved for the VIP. The buffet has international flavors, Mexican, Italian, American, and Asian dishes for example. Salad for the ladies and pizza, burgers, and hot dogs too for the younger crowd. I have been eating here occasionally for several years. The busiest times are during graduations and holidays. The view is fabulous. Parking, and RV parking is plentiful. Spots for electric cars are available. Well suited for those with physical disabilities and the handicapped. Smoking is present, but well vented. There are upscale, award-winning, romantic restaurants and a gift shop. It's a little away east from Sacramento along the 50 freeway, but the view is well worth it, especially when you reach the hills and leave the densely populated areas of Sacramento and Folsom. Remember to be respectful of the wildlife. It's their home. And as the Bible say, "Peace be unto this home."”

“I'm stuffed. So glad we have a restaurant that had smaller plates on their menu so I can have lots of salad, fruit, seafood salad, and so yum clam chowder then a shooter dessert. Usually I get the 6 prawns, baked potato, and side of mushrooms but tonight I got the 6 oz steak and baked potato that was just right that my grandson ate 1/2 of my steak. Our server was super sweet and assured us that the boys got dessert too on the kids menu. Guess a Sacramento Sizzler told them no. Thanks Cameron Park Sizzler :)”

“Flako’s tacos is nothing short of great. So far everything I have tried here has been delicious. Great prices also. This area has been needing a Mexican restaurant like this for a long time. If you go on a Tuesday be aware. It’s taco Tuesday! The line will be long. Everyone here is very friendly and the service has also been quick. Nice little salsa bar and they also have horchata. I will definitely be returning here and would recommend it to anyone in the area.”
