“We came in on a Saturday night and Geri our bartender was amazing 👏 the music was great and so was the vibe! The coolest part is we were able to drink all night and just rented one of the Apts up stairs and didn't have to drive anywhere!! The apt is so nice , and comfy and very reasonably priced! “Very fast, very friendly and most of all very tasty. We only had an hour before our rafting trip so we phoned in a group order and it was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered 2 French toast, pancakes, vegetarian omelet, Cracked Egg skillet, and a Country skillet. I was shocked our food was ready so fast. It was exactly what we needed before tackling the Kern River.”

“My boyfriend and I are visiting from the east coast and staying in Lake Isabella. We visited a few other restaurants and were happy with the service and food but this place is hands down our favorite! The food was top notch plus the views on the back deck were the perfect touch after a day of hiking. Chase was our waiter and he was so attentive and personable. He had lots of suggestions for food and drink as well as tips for local places to hike since he is a local. We definitely recommend this spot and hopefully you'll get Chase to serve you!! Cheers ❤️”

“This place was great! Our waitress was such a sweet girl. She checked on us regularly, made sure that our coffee was hot and that we were happy with our food. And the food was very good. My husband got breakfast - delicious cheese omelette with fried potatoes and English muffin.I had a patty melt and french fries.Everything was really good. A down to Earth, comfortable, old fashioned diner. We loved it!”

“I am not a big hamburger eater but this place is special I really did love these burgers! They were tasty and had a great amount of spices and flavors. My family and I enjoyed our burgers and so did our dogs (doggy patty) We are here 2x while we were camping on the river. We came on a Tuesday and there was only one employee doing everything cooking and cashiering she was really nice and got the job done. Then came back on Saturday as we left town, 2 employees then. This place is not your typical fast food spot so don’t expect your food to be ready with in minutes it probably takes a good 10 min, while we waited we were able to enjoy the nice scenery outside and take in the sun. Definitely will be back when we are back in town. Best part of all dog friendly!”

Subway, Chester’s fried chicken and Countryside home cooking, hamburgers and Mexican food, including breakfast items, eat inside at dinning area or get it to go.
