“Definitely not a place to take a date as the interior is dull and old except for the beautiful red goldfish swimming in the tank but if it's good food your seeking, this is the place. This is a chain restaurant and this location is the second one I tried and both are excellent (Irvine). Give it a try and you'll be happy that you did”

“I like coming to Garden Cafe! There is plenty of foods to choose from, my favorite is always the baked pasta dishes. However they have a little bit of everything you’d crave from a Hong Kong style cafe. I think everything is reasonable priced. If you come here on a weekend, expect to wait for a table, they are super busy. But on weekdays, there is rarely a wait. Food comes out at a reasonable pace, usually they are able to have your food ready when you finish the soup.”

“Love this restaurant. It's better than boiling crab. Customer Service is awesome. All the employees are nice and the food comes out fast. A nice gem hidden.”

“Pastrami burger, definitely has pastrami on it and some of the best tasting I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Outdoor seating is perfect for southern California weather. Enjoyed it on a Saturday in late January on our way to Disneyland.”

“Grill your own steak on a hot stone. Pretty nice gimmicky restaurant. Waitress told us how to grill the meat to medium rare, medium, and medium well but we found those times not to be true. I think she said 30 seconds to medium rare but it seemed like just a good sear to a really raw slab of meat. Everyone basically cut up their steaks and cooked it in pieces. We didn't see until after that there was trays of salt and pepper on a shelf by the wall. We would have asked for it cause the steak isn't seasoned. You get a pretty big piece of steak and some sides for about $24 bucks. The fried rice was okay but it wasn't needed to fill us up. There is also a late night special for alcohol here that is awesome. It's like $40 all you can drink beer and soju after 9 pm I think. Definitely worth a try”

“Great experience for my first time. Really recommend. Waiters are polite and fast, they even ask you "Are you guys doing alright?" and other questions like that. Could work on the furniture, like my table had tape on it. But otherwise great place to visit every once in a while.”

“Great salads, plenty of veggies, lots of soups, pastas, baked goods, muffins, fresh fruits, desserts, ice cream to choose from. Drinks include sodas, lemonades, coffee and tea. They have breakfast on Sunday's from 9 a.m - 12 p.m. All you can eat & drink. They have online coupons and senior discounts. The customer service is outstanding! Lucy and the entire staff is very attentive and service-oriented. The restaurant is always clean, including the bathrooms. Parking can be a bit tight. I love Souplantation!! One of my favorite places.”

“I used one of the self serve kiosks and my order was ready in about 2 minutes. My food was piping hot.”

“The drinks are good when the recipe is followed through. I come here many times with my girlfriend and we are usually concerned with how the drinks will turn out because it might be made incorrectly from time to time. I do really like their drinks here and I would recommend it. PS, if you ask for less toppings or whatever they won't change it because they don't type it into the computer or write it on the receipt when asked.”

“For dinner, the restaurant offered above average food quality. Prices are reasonable, services are at semi-professional level. King Crab is a must try dish. To get the special price, a minimum amount is required. Fish and meat are fresh. Avoid fried rice dish as it is under performed. For lunch, dim sum is average. Parking is unbelievable bad. Highly recommend parking on the street, do not even consider to drive in the parking lot.”
Address: 740 Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA
“Good variety and tasty dim sum (we were visiting from San Francisco area), but very long wait for 11 people on this busy Saturday noon hr. Will consider returning at some point. *Just remembered. Apparently all dim sum items are uniformly charged at the more (most?) expensive category on weekends as opposed to charging items at their respective categories.”

“This place has good Dim Sum. 10 out of 10 recommend to eat there for brunch or lunch. The service is good and the food is amazing, most traditional Cantonese and Chinese food are served there. Its really nice.”
