Beijing Pie House

Address: 235 W Main St #A, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“Take out only during COVID time. Their original location is closed so this is the only one opening. Call ahead for your order, everything is made to order and can take 30+ minutes to make during busy time. However, the taste did not change. Friendly waiter & tasty food. Highly recommended by foodies. Try their stuffed Chinese pancake (the ones with onions / chives are great). You will not regret it!”

“Incredible pizza, and such a cool ambiance! I've been waiting for this place to open for so long, and it blew my expectations out of the water! The pizzas are absolutely delicious, and humongous. With such a wide variety of toppings and food options, they're sure to have something for everyone. Can't wait to drain my bank account here ✌️ Definitely some of the best pizza I've ever tasted, and I've worked in a pizza restaurant for 5 years”

“Chille relleno is very good. The chips are also fresh and perfectly salted. The carne asada is a little under seasoned, but portions are hearty. The salsa and pico de gallo is alright, not the best, not the worst.”

Loved that he made light of the situation we are in. Very greatful for a fun drive through experience and for his great customer service. Left him a fat tip $10 for being soo great and working. “Lovely place for coffee and drinks. The main attraction is the souffle pancakes. Subtlety sweet and super fluffy. Of course the theme here is corgis and any fan and lover of corgis should pay a visit to this place. They also sell accessories and gifts related to corgi.”

Starbucks

“Cute location next to various business such as Game Stop and Dollar Tree, etc. It is easy to find and parking is plentiful. The employees were very warm and approachable. When I asked a question about their menu options, they were very helpful. It seems like a laid back environment and no one is turned away. When busy, the service may take a bit longer but it's nothing to stress about.”

Supreme Dragon Restaurant 一條龍

Address: 1265 E Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“2 dishes for ~$20, I've got one word -- regrets. This place used to be another restaurant that served delicious gigantic bowls of beef noodle soup that actually tasted good. Used to be big enough for 2 to share if a large was ordered. Not sure what happened to the old shop. If you're in for beef noodle soups that lack the beef flavor and contain a ton of sodium, this is your shop. We ordered the Fried Shanghai Rice Cakes and one of the Beef Noodle Soups (which one I ordered makes no difference). Salty, small and expensive for what we were served. My bf and I had a hard time consuming all of it. I tried adding sriracha to make the rice cake dish taste a little better, but that definitely didn't help. It probably needed some sort of chili oil. Soup was beyond salty. I drank so much water after. I wish I took some pictures, but they're definitely stingy with the portions. Their prices are pretty standard for the SGV but given the taste and portion size...I'd say there are plenty of other places 3-3.5 star ratings that I'd rather go to. Honestly, I don't understand why they have 4 stars. This rating definitely make other 4 stars like 5+ stars. Not coming back!”

LaoBeijing Hot Pot

Address: 1308 E Valley Blvd, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“pretty good, a bit expensive compared to china, but that's to be expected. Spicy is spicy and broths have a good taste to them. Meat selection isn't too large, but have the main skewers like innards, beef, veggies, balls, etc.”

Circle K

Address: 1 E Hellman Ave, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Meal takeaway Cafe Restaurant

“The store is convenient but the prices a a bit high. It's sad that they now charge 0.50 for debit card use. I only go here if absolutely necessary.”

Yang's Kitchen

Address: 112 W Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“Unique twist to traditional Chinese dishes. Some of them are absolutely delicious and unique and justified the price. Some like the onion pancake was nothing special and taste like any other onion pancake from other places but way more expensive! This is why I am taking off one star. Definitely pick the more uncommon dishes to make your experience worth it. I love the environment of this restaurant. Very fresh and modern looking cafe style with the wood and white accents.”

Popping Yolk Cafe

Address: 119 W Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“Popping Yolk Cafe is a new breakfast and brunch restaurant on Main st and 1st street. It's atmosphere was inviting and charming. The interior was spacious, neat, clean and well lit. Their low and high tables and chairs were evenly spaced. Moreover, they have a marble counter top full bar which added more seating. Perfectly situated infront of their two 35 inch flat screen tv. We came here one weekend for breakfast. Customers need to order at the front desk/cashier counter before getting a table. They have a wide selection of food and drink on their menu. We ordered a full-classic french toast and scrambled eggs. Their french toasts/eggs has good presentation and were served on a white rectangular ceramic plate with whip cream on two sides of the plate. The thick french toasts were coated with sweet brown sugar, sprinkled blueberries and strawberries with maple syrup. Scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. Both were tasty, soft and flavorful. I honestly think sugar coating the french toasts were unnecessary. Service was moderately fast. Staff were tremendously helpful, competent, amiable and professional. Prices were fair, affordable and competitive. Overall, we had a great breakfast and highly recommend this cafe restaurant.”

The Bay Cafe 銅鑼灣美食坊 alhambra

Address: 39 W Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“We as a family sometimes come here for dinner, and it is a good place based on price. It is because only cost lower prices to get a good portion of food, and we always come can get the food to go for tomorrow. Also, parking is good here because it has plaza parking on the back. However, food quality and service often inconsistent that can improve to the future. Overall, I will come here for dinner because it has good prices and drinks is not expensive compared to other restaurants in local area.”

Nakazo Ramen Bistro

Address: 2120 S Fremont Ave, Alhambra, CA 91803, USA

Restaurant

“Having this corner already changed twice in the past several years, I kinda hope this ramen shop sticks around a bit longer than the other restaurants. It looks almost the same as the previous places, but with a nice japanese flair decor inside now. We tried out several dishes to try and get a feel of whats good here. The classic tonkatsu ramen bowl had some really flavorful chashu that melted always pretty easily when you bit into it, though the broth was a bit different. You could taste the pork, but it definitely had a bit of a vegetable flavor to it. Personally I'd prefer it to be more savory, but it wasn't bad. We also tried some karaage, but honestly it wasn't that tasty and a bit tough; sauce was good though. I did like the omusubis, having tried their chashu omusubi. Overall, solid 4 out of 5. I think I'll be returning to try out some of their other menu items.”

Nabemono Shabu Shabu

Restaurant

Waba Grill

Address: 2121 W Main St #200, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA

Restaurant

“I've eaten at better Waba grills locations where the food taste more fresh. I ordered the chicken bowl recently and the chicken was not seasoned very well and taste more like a lower grade thigh than grilled chicken breast. The cabage had a weird flavor I cant describe, but definitely not fresh. The food at this location can really stand for some major improvement . The food served at the Lywood location is alot more fresh.”
