“Went with a friend to check this place out for happy hour yesterday. It was Wed at 5pm and the bar area was very low key and mellow. It got busier as time went by. There were two bartenders and service for drinks and food was okay. Enjoyed the popcorn tempura appetizer the best (we tried them all). I had the fuschia fascinator and it was good. They didn't have the apple tart available though which was a bummer. However would go back.”

“Good rates for the rooms. The smallest rooms had 2 microphones each. Song Selection was very wide and recently updated (a couple months maybe?). They charge 18% service fee/gratuity for karaoke rooms and dine in tables 6+. Food was good but pricey for the portions.”

“The Derby is one of the great old time steak houses left in Los Angeles County. It's a historic restaurant with a cozy ambiance. Everything on the menu is really good but I love their steaks. If you happen to go there on your birthday they will treat you with a baked Alaska! Yummy.”
