“My favorite East Indian restaurant l hadn't visited in awhile and it's still great! They have a wonderful Buffet until 3:00 but my friend was running late. I ordered a lamb dish that wasn't on the Buffet and they allowed me to get a plate of sides and rice to complete her meal and 1 waiter stayed to make sure we were well taken care of! Their service and excellent food reminded to go back more often. That they stayed so consistent, (it had been more than a year) made me resolve to go back sooner!”

“Lots of stuff to choose from. They could use a better way to provide drinks or at least water to people but over all good food + love the inclusion of Desi Chinese Food.”

“5 Star for one of the tastiest food in OC and LA area for Pakistani/ Indian food. I have eaten in many restaurants. The difference in eating at this place is that as many times that I have come to eat here, each time I am a satisfied customer. The staff is always very cordial, quick helpful in service. This restaurant offers reasonably clean and adequate decor. The 5 Star rating is for the tasty food.”

“Nice place for some snaks like dabeli and panipuri and many more. There are different types of soda are available. The singoda sweet paan is famous here. An averag paan compared to the ones available in india nonetheless a good one to keep a note at artesia.”

“Lovely combination of traditional Gujarati food and Bombay style snacks. Great for the entire family. Nice, clean restaurant in Artesia with a reasonable amount of parking at the back.”

“Plenty of parking. Good selection of food. All you can eat. Buffet style, so service interactions are limited. But staff does keep an eye out for water (if you are drinking it). There are also soda selections (self serve). Spicy and mild choices are available. Price was reasonable for all you can eat. Primarily and Indian and Pakistani crowd, but we had a multiethnic party and were very welcome.”

“Very tasty and very good service. Authentic and has lots of variety. I would request the management to please check quality of ingredients, may be oil and spices in preparation. That would make it delightful. Thank you”

“They have great salad bar so you don't have to keep asking for the sides, you can go up and get as much as you want, lot of varieties too. Disclaimer I'm not a big BBQ fan to begin with but I have been to better places when it comes to Korean BBQ”

“The pizza is good if you would like something different. Normally I enjoy AVE 3 in cerritos but gave this a try. Customer service was amazing. Price was perfect if you order more than 1 pie. Try their combination pizzas but be warn, if you don't like spice make sure you get mild. A great pizza place to add to the rotation”

“I had an offal good time! Despite the name, Chowfun Restaurant is a typical turo-turo Filipino eatery (think Panda Express) owned by Tambuli Supermarket next door. They offer the common dishes, such as adobo, lechon & pinakbet. However, what sets apart Chowfun from it's competitors is that from 4pm-8pm Friday - Sunday, Chowfun offers BBQ street food. Comprised of pork & chicken meat & offal, it's a taste of home where cheap BBQ is for sale on every street corner. Ordering is like you would at the sushi bar or yakitori- Pick up a checklist Mark the ones you want and in what quantity Wait for food I was told the Betamax (pork blood) wasn't ready just yet, so I finalized my order with chicken isaw (intestines), Adidas (chicken feet) & tenga (pig's ears). Mmmmm, flashbacks of my last trip to the Philippines, staying at a compound on Pasong Tamo & having my fill of BBQ on a stick came to mind. The Adidas (chicken feet) had that delectable skin that you suck off the toes and the fatty pad of the foot. The tenga (pig's ears) were collagenly crunchy and helps maintain my glowing skin ;p. The chicken isaw were tender and had just enough intestine taste to remind you that you're eating offal. Each only $1/piece. Other delicious BBQ street food items, ranging from $1 - $2, include kwek kwek (quail's eggs), tiyan (pork stomach) & helmet (chicken heads). Surprisingly, a crowd favorite not on the list - chicken butt. What? C'mon! It's delicious! What's the best part of chicken butt? The green, creamy filling BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Service was okay. It's a Filipino quick-service eatery, with grilling time depending upon how many are in line. A few tables to sit at & enjoy your food. Parking is in a private lot shared by Tambuli, a computer store & Pep Boys. Meat, meat and more meat! Chowfun Restaurant serves up Pinoy food with a weekend twist - BBQ street food. I can't currently vouch for the hot tray items, but I'm a big fan of the offal on a stick. Cheap & delicious, it'll keep me coming back for more. For sure, I'm all about the Betamax (pork blood) on my next visit. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM”

“The service is good and they refill kimchi and side dishes with a push cart which reminds me of dim sum carts. The sofa seats are a bit tight so the standalone tables are a better choice for more space. Prices are a bit higher than at similar style of restaurant. Fried tofu at 8.99 is a bit steep. Comparable dishes at other restaurants are almost 40% less. Overall, it’s good food but a bit less value for money.”

“My favorite shabu in the area. Ponzu and goma sauce tops. Today I had the spicy miso and sinigang. If you want spicy get the miso. If you want sour tamarind get the sinigang. So good”

“Service wise, it's quick. Staff are courteous, greets and take orders with a smile. Food is great just like the way it is back in the Philippines, but the spoon and fork that was given was half clean. I guess it's a Fililino thing that when someone enters a restaurant you expect that other customers' eyes will follow you until you are seated; they're faced backwards but still they turn their necks just to make sure they see you. I find it rude to follow someone with their prying eyes. Nevertheless, Gerry's Grill is always great.”

“Easy place to get too, it's only a block from the strip where all the local shops are at. Not crowded and easy parking. I ordered the #6 Combination Pho (super bowl) and some shrimp spring rolls. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Price for party of two was about average.”

“Friendly service from the moment we walked in. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted, the wait staff approached us right away with and explained the menu and the restaurant's specials... Free wine with any seafood trio and $1.00 beer specials. So we had to order the PK Special seafood trio, calamari, garlic noodles, with of course beer, white wine, and red wine. The food we ordered came out quickly and everything was hot and delicious. The girls were all so helpful. Highly recommended this place if you love seafood. Will definitely be returning customers. Check out the yummy pics !”

“A modernized take on Vietnamese cuisine with heavy emphasis on literally Garlic and Chives. Excellent flavor profiles on the 10+ dishes we ordered, everything cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service from table staff to bartender and greeters were exceptional. They even have hard liquor, beer, wine and cocktails. Overall, our party was very impressed that a Vietnamese restaurant pulled everything off this well. Only complaint was the quantity to value expectation on one dish: lamb chops ($13 for two rather thin pieces of rack of lamb).”

“Has been serving the neighborhood for the last 20 plus years. There must be a reason for its existence... Good food quality. Tips: They don't use MSG. In case one prefers the real taste of food, feel free to ask them to refrain from chicken bouillon powder.”
