“This place is exactly how I remember as a kid. Grew up coming here in the 80's and 90's after church with my grandma. Food always comes out exactly as ordered, servers and cooke have a solid system that makes your garlic bread / food / refills come out very quickly. Great place for an inexpensive steak dinner with your family. And the unlimited shrimp *really* is unlimited.”

“This is my favorite bar in LA. This is a good classic neighborhood bar with an older crowd of mostly professional drinkers but they do also have a variety of live music that brings in younger people too. There’s a small dance floor and a lot of seating around the bar itself. The only reason I give it one less star is because the food isn’t that great. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve eaten plenty of and it’s fine for bar food, just not exciting.”

“Great service and good food. We like taco Tuesday when the tacos are like a dollar. Yummy I need to edit this review. Sadly, the last time I went to Tequiias the food was gross. Taco Bell is better than this. I guess they had a new cook. I had tacos and the meat left an after taste in my mouth that I had to brush to get out. Kind of like a film and the shell like card board. Next time I will walk across the street and really go to Tao Bell. Its better and cheaper”

“I like the guy nodding out, with sunglasses taking my order, and on the phone. He deserves a raise! The cooks were 10/10. I came here in the afternoon. It's because in addition to a $8 meal, you get some free entertainment!”

“Friendly and efficient, little restaurant. First class real American style, Mexican food done by a family that came from Mexico City. Many patrons are long-standing customers. Typical of many hole in the wall type restaurants.”

“SPECTACULAR. Wow, what an amazing dining experience. Wonderful food, lovely service from Andrew, and one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. The place is small, intimate, friendly, and soothing. We had the Almonds & Olives, Buffalo Cauliflower, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, the Veggie Sloppy Joe with Sweet Potato Fries, and the Rockefeller Burger, which they lettuce-wrapped for me and provided a side salad substitute. The appetizers were delicious. The Brussels sprouts were one of the best dishes I've ever eaten, anywhere, perfectly flash-fried and smothered in (get this) fresh burrata and a jalapeno ranch. Insane and mind-blowing. Everything else was perfection, including the Russian tarragon sauce served with my burger. Wow. We had such a relaxing, engaging time, and we can't wait to go back for dinner, especially with the recommendations we received from all the other happy diners!”

“Chicken was dry. The chips were good and I liked the sauce. Something different from fast food but would not recommend the chicken.”

“I rarely take the time to post reviews, but this has been one of the exceptions because this tiny mom-and-pop thai restaurant deserves it. It's hidden in Burbank on Hollywood Way just off the busy area on Magnolia blvd. I found it by chance because I was walking down the street and saw the front sign. The food is really good (I got their pineapple fried rice and an Iced thai coffee). The prices are good even though it is near Portos and other more fancy restaurants. Definitely a place to stop by. The atmosphere is unique because when you walk in, you get the impression you're steping into someone's house through the back door. This is exactly another aspect that I liked. Most restaurants go for the high end franchise look but here it feels homey.”

“Great little neighborhood bar. Has a fantastic whisky selection. I own a little dive bar in San Antonio, and it reminded me of my place! Very comfortable place with two friendly bartenders behind the bar. Highly recommend if you just want a great spot to relax and have a few drinks!”

“Great selection of crusts including two gluten-free. A variety of sauces and lots of toppings, all made to order in front of you. Thin crust only, but all very tasty. One size, about 10", with unlimited toppings for one reasonable price.”

“This place is choice. Great sandwiches, good coffee, amazing pastries and more! Get a slice of delicious cake or order an entire one for a celebration, there's many options and all are recommended. The building in Burbank is large and the other locations are fairly big too. The lines in the morning can wrap around the block but if you come in the evening, it's far more manageable. Either way it's worth the wait. Lots of good choices, my favorite is the guava pulled pork and their cheesecake.”

“Local food place with a decent following. Great food. Watermelon juice is the best when it is in season. Try the pot stickers.”

“Went for the fried chicken. It was very good. Marinated in buttermilk and fried very well. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. The fried pickles and jalapenos we're good too as well as the cross cut sweet potato fries. Enjoyed the experience a lot.”

“I was was so impressed with the service, friendly servers. They were awesome! I was there with friends. We let them know we had limited time to eat. They accommodate us. The food was great!! I remember my aunt telling me about this restaurant chain. Cause she work as hostess when she was young. She had to wear a fake hair piece to look like a hair bun with a brown bow on front, wear a white blouse and a brown skirt. She was 18 years old. It was in 1976-77. It looked just like to she said!!! I strongly recommend it!!”

“We live in the condos kitty-corner to this place that once was Moes, our favorite casual eatery. So we were very excited to try it. I've been twice and thought it was great! Food and presentation is excellent. Very fresh. My friend had the Smoked Salmon breakfast and I had the Smoked Turkey tartine. I love the personal coffee carafe and creamer. Sipping coffee from a bowl is very warm and cozy on a cold day!”

“Absolutely wonderful spot to eat! I highly recommend the filet mignon plate. Best lunch I have had in a long time and it's incredibly cheap for this area. Nearly every other lunch option near here is double the price and half the quality. This place is a true gem.”

“Lovethis place. Tried a new tuna salmon Thai bowl and it was pretty great. Wish they had the shaved Brussels sprouts, but I guess it's seasonal. My only complaint is that they do switch up the menu and portions depend on the server.”

“I feel like it was a lot better value the last few times I went. (which was at least a year ago!) It was $20 for a regular drink & the prime rib meal, with 2 sides. It was not a large enough portion for that kind of price....lots of fat on it. Probably like 1/3 of it was fat, but it did taste pretty good.”

“This is the sweetest crew! The food is always fresh and the best! They have a big (& kid) menu, everyone can find a great choice. There at the top of a very competitive breakfast burrito game here in Burbank. I love that they call me a regular! Stop in the next time you're in town. See ya there!”

“Service was quick. Price was reasonable. Food was AMAZING!!! i got the Super Burrito with al pastor, and the Super Nachos with chorizo. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the portions were enough for 3 people. The salsas all tasted great. Real solid spot for mexican food im Burbank.”

“Found out about this place through Food Network, (Triple D I think). Best chili I've had, my kind of chili. Cool quaint spot that you would easily drive past thinking the place is abandoned. Hope it stays that way since most people don't seem to know about this place. It's one of the best kept secrets of Burbank.”

“Love this place. We come here for work group lunches. Great food, portions and excellent customer service. The sweetest people work here! I think her name may be Susan?! Terrible, I don't know her name but she's always been there around noon. She is friendly, funny and so courteous! She always has a beautiful smile on her face, always asks if there is anything we need and asks how we're doing. The Pastrami Sandwich and the Patty Melt are delicious! The bread they use for their pastrami sandwich is super soft. The Patty Melt just melts in your mouth with each bite. Their fries and onions rings are perfectly golden brown on the outside and tender in the inside. Their dipping sauces are homemade - definitely try the ranch! They're great with custom orders, too. My friend had the Chicken Sandwich, added a beef patty, bacon and an egg. It looked like a tower of goodness! By the way, I don't eat pickles but when I tried theirs - I will again! All in all, I can't wait for my next visit!”
