“I went here for a Sunday brunch and it is like many Hometown Buffet's that I visited before. The food is plentiful, but of medium-quality. It attracts huge numbers of families so I would really call it a dining experience as much as a dining ordeal. Is located in the old McDonnell Douglas aircraft Factory site in Burbank and parking is no problem. I would say depending on if you have a coupon or not it could be a good deal. I have been to other Hometown Buffet's in other states and the ones in Ohio are superior I would say that this is average according to California standards”

“Outstanding thin crust pizza New York style. While you're here make sure to try the Blue Sky root beer it is as good as it gets for a root beer. Quick fast service. Stand in line and order your pizza custom made or standardized. Wait time is quick and efficient and worth every penny. You can also customize your PC here with no problem. The pizza sauce here is zesty and spot on. Pizza dough is made in house. Numerous toppings to choose from and more than one sauce available. Numerous cheeses to choose from as well. Don't forget to try the Blue Sky root beer it is out of this world. Blue Sky root beer is almost impossible to find at any supermarket.”

“It's one of my favorite places to get nachos from. They have healthy tasty food and now have drinks to go with the food. I had the pineapple lemonade and it was so good. The horchata is also good. My niece has steak tacos, which looked good too. Choices for kids is limited but we always share so it's good. Clean salsa bar with a large variety. Staff is helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Seating is sometimes cramped but outside seating is good.”

“I got the sunset bowl with tofu. Great ratio of vegetables to grains. I'd order it again. My main reason for writing this review is to give a shout out to the staff, specifically Jay Tee, who was a shining example of what great customer service should be. This was my first time at Grain Lab, and I had no idea what to get. I ordered the bowl and Jay Tee gave me recommendations for a protein add-on. He made easy conversation with me and every customer that came after me. He explained the rewards program effectively. Every customer was given the same high level of service that I had received. As I ate my lunch, I noticed that he was always smiling and constantly moving. In between customers, he was cleaning and checking on tables. Jay Tee truly made my day and made Grain Lab stand out for me. I will be back.”

“This place is great. It's clean, and seating isn't usually a problem. The Staff is pretty laid back. You can tell everyone there gets along, they are like a well oiled machine. The process of you ordering to your food being ready is less than 20 minutes quite possibly even 10. The food is good the fries are well salted and the frosty machine is never broken.”
