Fantastic service here! The food was delicious. The warm olive oil cake was the best desert we've had in a long time! Really made the start to our trip special. Not to mention beautiful views, with leaves and ambiance around the pool that really enliven the landscape. A wonderful escape, we will be back!

Top of the The Shay hotel in Culver City. For roof top bars, this has a good view of Baldwin Hill and gbe surrounding area, which is really nice. There is valet parking or you can park at a nearby garage. This is an up and coming spot near The Platform so you can do a little shopping too.

Drinks are super cute here with their flamingo topped toothpick and garnishes. Really liked the Painkiller! Smooth and strong!!

The Burger was pretty good too. Classic with two pressed patties and sauce on the side that added to the richness! The Palm Springs Bowl was healthy and nutrition. Definitely balanced out the burger!

All in all, a nice roof top that is worth checking out in the Culver City area!

Appetizers:

Calamari (3.9/5) Pretty good, light batter. The mayo sauce is too thick. Maybe offer a tomato-based cocktail sauce, like every other restaurant.

Blue fin Tuna (4.1/5) Very good. My partner loved it. Chili sauce is not spicy but adds a ton of flavor.

Entree:

Lobster Frites for 2 (4.4/5) Well seasoned, good flavor & enjoyed the rosemary fries.

Service: (3.4/5) Took way too long to receive our drinks. Also, the bald man w/glasses doesn’t know how to properly welcome guests/take orders. He needs training. The female waiters also need better training, as well. Our food came before we received our drinks, even though, we ordered our drinks way in advance. They also charged a mandatory 18% gratuity, which I thought was kinda high, considering the service that was provided to us. I think 16% would have been fair.

Overall: The ambiance is very nice, next to a pool and views of the city. Lastly, food Could have better for the price.

Our new favorite weekend hangout spot! Matt our waiter was so great. Amazing service, food & drinks. Also great music and vibe! Can't wait to go back!

Fabulous Miami vibe at this poolside restaurant on the roof of The Shay. We went for drinks and a bite and neither disappointed. We ordered the calamari, rosemary fries, artichoke and vegetable crudite plate as appetizers. All were yummy. For entrees we got the burger, fish sandwich, BLT SSAM, and omelette. Everything was excellent with the one oddity being the plethora of feta served with the SSAM. It didn't quite go with the dish and can anyone even eat that much feta? The waitstaff were super nice and attentive. Shout out to Alexis. We want that Aussie accent next time. If you are looking for an evening's relaxing getaway, this is the spot.
