Great Italian food and beer options. Lots of different pizzas and craft beers. Not usually a wait on weekdays but usually a wait on weekends. Indoor, outdoor, and bar seating.
Platform is an epicenter of trendy of Culver City, and the addition of Roberta's Pizza from New York only helps solidify that by bringing an honest-to-goodness restaurant/pizza place into a shopping center that's otherwise mostly full only of healthy restaurant* options.
The pizza is solid but a little pricey, the porchetta looks amazing. The vibe is dark both inside and out for dinner, not too many business people, more hipsters with reasonable but not crazy disposable income.
* disclaimer: I am explicitly saying restaurants for a reason, I realize Platform has plenty of unhealthy dessert options!
Delicious, chewy, thin crust, good sauce, great flavor with toppings, perfectly fired pizza. The grilled squid in ink was also delicious, and I recommend saving the bowl to wipe up the sauce with your extra pizza crust , that is, if you have any extra crust.
Great pizzas all around, thin-crust, well balanced, quality ingredients. Service was professional, courteous and prompt, even after learning at the end of the meal that the restaurant was short-staffed that particular night. Will definitely come back!
