As with others I also had a problem with their signature burger. The cheese was quite simply too powerful and completely masked whatever flavor the meat of the burger might of had. It was hard to finish it because of how terribly overpowering the cheese was. For the price it was not worth it at all. The fries weren't really notable either.
I'm sure that some other items on the menu are fantastic but they are just absurdly expensive. If you're going here to have a bougie lunch or dinner then it'll probably be great as long as you don't get the burger like I did, but if you're coming here to have a regular lunch or dinner then I'd suggest going elsewhere. Most of their small plates weren't all that good for the price you have to pay too.
The service was fantastic though, and it's why I gave any stars at all. The place was clean and everything was running smoothly. Our food and drinks came out quickly.
The meat and drink selection is excellent. The New York Strip we ordered was cooked and cut perfectly, the cheese plate we ordered was very generous and there was more than enough for my S.O. and I. The cocktails were very tasty, and the wine served to us was well aerated and fruity. The only gripe I have about the place is that the waiter forget to include our onion rings on our order and the place is a bit noisy. Otherwise, the experience is great!
Really great place. Very very good food and the price for what you get is very reasonable. Really great meat, one of the best and imo better than Maple Block.
Had the breakfast sandwich (forgot what it was called exactly). And steak and eggs.
One of the best steak and eggs I have had in a while and very good quality meat. Even the scramble egg and sauce was very well done. For 16 dollars, very reasonable.
