“This place is such a beautiful place. It just filled me with excitement when I walked. All of the pastries were so beautiful and colorful like jewels. It was hard to stay focused on why I came. To pick up this beautiful cake they made. It's called a "Cherry Blossom" cake. It was so delicious. We had a marble biscuit ( what they call the cake), 2 vanilla biscuits, with chocolate mousse between one, strawberry and cream between the other, and butter cream between the other. My family devoured this cake. We had none to take home.... It was for my Mom's Birthday... She loved! Thank you for making her day extra special. We will definitely be back.”

“It is one of the best bakeries around. I have been a customer for over 30 years, and will continue to shop. The new owner is fantastic. Nice to see the younger generation stepping up.”

“SWEDEN ???????? Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles: Despite being around since the 1960's, it was in 1991 that Berolina Bakery & Pastry Shop switched to its current ownership, a married team with roots in Stockholm, Sweden and Antwerp, Belgium. The couple had met in California four years prior to this and moved to Sweden together, but came back and transformed their new purchase into the European baking specialist it is today. Overlooking a section of Verdugo Road in the northern foothills of Glendale, the bakery has the feeling of belonging to a bohemian town many miles away from the big city. Groups of cyclists and outdoor types roll in with all their equipment and take a break, enjoying the pleasant outdoor seating especially during months that are not blazing hot. Come in the morning to take advantage of their breakfast sets, of which the simple Scandinavian breakfast ($7.50) provides the best sense of transport to your friend's cabin in the woods outside of Stockholm. It comes with coffee and very fresh orange juice, a bread roll and Danish of your choice, and slices of havarti cheese. The poppy seed roll pairs nicely with the cheese, and the coffee is surprisingly good for a Swedish café. The Danish is just as light and delicious as the cinnamon roll, and for the price the set is quite a steal.”

“Great food, different flavor profile than most of the other local kebab places due to the Lebanese influence. Oven baked wraps are delicious but service can take a little while.”

“Great Food. The location is hard to find if you don’t know where it is. I believe they need a bigger and better sign. Inside could use remodeling. The staff is great, God bless her soul.”

“Delicious burger! One of the messiest and best burgers I've ever had! Philly cheese steak, chili cheese fries and Italian sandwich didn't disappoint either. Good service, quick turn around time, and delicious food. Glad we drove by and decided to stop.”

“The spot a super trendy! Add the fried chicken and it's not the best I've ever had, but it is crispy and moist. The outside has very unique flowers on the walls which definitely makes it stand out and gives her a call ambiance. Inside, it looks closer to fine dining and the service was top-notch.”

“I was a little disappointed to find out that they were no longer making the pistachio macaroon sandwich but I got the vanilla bean and it was very delicious. My boyfriend who is not a huge fan of sweets had the strawberry shortcake stick. I hate the one from the ice cream truck because the ice cream tastes very artificial but this was a very fresh strawberry flavored ice cream, I tried it and loved that too. We took 6 mini red velvet cupcakes home and will definitely return. Great place!”

“This place is great! We really enjoyed the food. We visited on a Thursday, Friday and tried again on a Saturday. Their pastries and desserts are amazing and the prices are great. The only advice I would give is to try and visit early in the week. We went Thursday and Friday. Had our first experience been on a Friday, we probably would not have returned. It's too busy, chaotic and seemed like the staff wasn't on the same page on Friday. We tried to go again Saturday and the line was just too long for us to wait. Overall, excellent food!”
