“I was visiting from out of town and popped in because it looked cute. I was surprised to see someone baking the pasteries in the back kitchen. I had the best almond croissant I've ever had. I ended up going back 2 more times that day for coffee and kids snacks and everything was delicious and the people were very friendly. I've actually thought about that croissant since and hope I can go back one day and have another!”

“Had a birthday dinner here with a friend. The interior dining room is beautiful and comfy. The cocktails were incredible and very inventive, but not so inventive that they’re not enjoyable. The food was phenomenal! Everything we ordered was amazing. Super creative dishes, with so many ingredients working together seamlessly, everything complementing each other. I will 100% be returning to this restaurant. Enjoyed the food so much that I forgot to take photos. It’s hard to compete with all of the creativity in LA while still keeping the focus on the quality and taste of the food, but Ryla has done it perfectly!”

“Took the Miss out for date night and decided to go to Agave Azul Kitchen & Tequila... Oh by the way, it was also St. Patrick's Day. The place was very lively and busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait in order to get a table and order something to eat. The staff was friendly and attentive; food was delicious and filling. The only draw back to the overall excellent experience was we never received two drinks we had ordered. Upon leaving l, our waitress removed the drinks from the bill and apologized. We understood it was super busy that night, however there were people who came after us that didn't have an issue getting their drinks.”

“We are so glad we tried this restaurant right by the beach in Hermosa. The entire experience was superb. First, the dishes we ordered were all delicious, with great flavor combinations, great presentation, and a obviously great ingredients. We tried the mushroom pasta, the duck pasta, the braised shortribs and the truffle fondue appetizer. It started with the appetizer - not only was it served with warm house-made bread, but it was very truffly with lots of black truffle chunks. Really gave such a great flavor. The shortribs melted in our mouth, and the home-made pastas have a texture and bite you only expect at a top Italian restaurant. Basing a pasta dish around duck seems simple but we haven't come across this much before. It was hearty and flavorful. Our only regret was that we were too full for dessert - but next time! Best of all, we really liked the ambience and team serving us. It was clear they were happy and supported, and their great service made the meal a joy. Highly recommend a visit!”

“Def the best Mexican food west of PCH (Sepulveda Bl). I love their daily specials, endless chips n salsa and the service is FIRST class. Their previous location was on Sepulveda in Manhattan Beach which I was a local at for years. For now you can take out or sit on one of their sidewalk tables and it is all covid friendly with servers wearing masks and the use of QR code menus from your cell phone. Had the 3 chicken tacos special today with ice tea and it was delicious. Cant wait to go back.”

“The best place for a craft beer in the south bay! $4 draft beers during happy hour and weekly rotating local draft beers make it the best value you get across the Beach Cities! Ask to sample a few and enjoy a pint or two. Staff was all very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable across all beer and food options. We particularly like the 3 for 2 Runts/Green Runts happy hour deal and Taco Tuesdays ($5 for 2 tacos). Haven't had an entree yet but will definitely be back to try based on the good tacos and Runts. Nice and unique indoor and outdoor seating options with old spools as well. All helps create the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of the bar. Also a block off the strand and pier so don't get too many tourists either. And LOVE all the octopus paintings! Great spot and will definitely be going back!”
