I personally love this place. I’ve always had a great time everytime I’ve been here. Tons of live music and great sound. The foods pretty good too.
The double sided bar is also really cool!
As new as this place is, they hit Long Beach hard with some of my favorite shows I've been to in this city. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly and the whole place is ran smoothly. I really enjoy coming to this bar/venue and creating amazing memories with my friends. Cheers to this wondrous establishment and cheers to many more incredible night at the Broken Drum Bar!
A wonderful addition to Long Beach. Live music with amazing acoustics. Well planned layout with a nice size stage. We order appetizers and ice cold beers to start. The cheesy French fries were delicious. We also ordered loaded taquitos that were freaking awesome. The Staff were on point checking on all the tables every few minutes. They cleaned up the tables and are extremely attentive to all of us and everyone around us. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and took great care of all of us.The owners were on hand to greet all the customers. Great food and drinks at very reasonably prices.
If your looking for a great place to spend a nice evening we totally recommend The Broken Drum to everyone. We give this amazing little Bar and Grill five stars.
????????????????????????????????????????
I'll have just stop by here again on a Sunday if you're there reggae brunch, but so far I can tell you this place is a lot better than the last establishment which was a dueling piano place. Big mix of convention people due to the location across from the Long Beach Convention Center
The Broken Drum Bar is bringing live music to Downtown Long Beach! I've had the pleasure of dining and drinking here for very different reasons and occasions, every experience has been unique and always an enjoyable time.
The different shows I have seen there have shown me that this place can accommodate a plethora of different events. From a crazy rock show on A Fri/Sat night,a chill and relaxing Reggae Sunday, and even just an afternoon of day drinking with the juke box, this bar adjusts with style and grace!
Service here is always inviting! They all happily help their guests and answer any questions you may have. They informed me that the food was just a temporary fix until they get the real menu rolling. Which is fine because the tacos and nachos I had were delicious!
With the food, music, service and $4 happy hour specials I'm sure to return to this gem in Downtown Long Beach in the near future!
