85C Bakery Cafe - Sherman Oaks

Pastries are light with just enough flavor that isn't overpowering. The milk teas are good too. The prices are great. Service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you'll probably get the pretty rude and unfriendly ladies who seem like they just don't want to be there and other times you'll get really friendly service - laid back and good vibey workers. Establishment should look into that because it seems to be turning off alot of customers. Overall I like this place.

I have visited this location numerous times at various times of the day. I want to give 5 stars for food/drinks, although the 1 star rating is for service. The cashiers (especially the morning) are usually unattentive and unpleasant. The place opens at 8am, there have been 3 occasions, customers had to WAIT to be serviced since their registers were not yet open.

Made exactly to my taste. I like their Egg tarts, chocolate cake & mango cake. It's made with minimum sweet, lots of flavor & layers of texture. This place is my favorite bakery. It's made fresh & you can taste the freshness. So many things to choose. Party in my mouth ????. Its my number ONE bakery.

Lived in Hokkaido Japan for a while, loved the bakeries there, and lamented the lack of them here. Well, lament no more, because 85°c is a PERFECT ASIAN BAKERY! The pastries are fresh, light, delicate, flavorful--and reasonably priced! Savory pastries with cheese and bacon and sausage. Sweet pastries with fruit and chocolate fillings. Everything was exceptionally authentic--and delicious! I can't wait to go back!
