Met all my expectations. Great place to get a day's worth of calories for a good deal. Our server (I think her name was Tatsiana?) was nice and professional
With so many local restaurants in Los Angeles, chain restaurants have a challenge to produce the same quality. If you are really hungry and you can't wait, Marie Callender's will fill you up. If you want local flair and quality, you might want to wait.
I would be so pleased if this restaurant would serve wild caught seafood instead of farmed. I would pay the difference. Farmed contains about 1/3 the nutrition + some really bad stuff. Yuck. Good location. Should up the quality.
Only came to pick up pies for Thanksgiving, not to dine. I usually order a couple of pies for Thanksgiving each year. Placed the order online. Parking can be found in the lot shared with other businesses. Parking can get crazy during holiday season; it was busy this year but was able to find parking in the lot. There's also parking on the street if open. They setup an area in the back to pick up pies. Before getting in line to pick up, you need to check in (if you prepaid) and they hand you a slip to speed up the line. There's 3 lines: buy pies with credit card, prepaid, and buy pies with cash. Prepaid line does not get priority, which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online since you still have to wait. The only difference is if you didn't order online, there's only a limited selection of pies you can order (this year was apple and something else). Not sure if they have one person for each line but when I was there, there was no one manning the prepaid line. My wait was only 5 minutes but kinda annoying since I prepaid and hoping I could just pick up and go. Service was good and efficient though.
