“I'm glad Un Caffe opened up at this location. There has been a number of other restaurants. And they were good but it takes a special place to work for this location. The food has love, compassion, and style... The customer service experience is awesome too! Love the beet Latte!”

“Incredible FRESH tea you can tell us made regularly through the day and not just sitting around since the morning. Staff is really friendly and the ordering through a kiosk makes it completely effortless. Nothing better than getting a mango cloud and strolling around on the beach.”

“Ive been to Silverlake ramen in Long Beach, and it was okay. I tried this one by El Segundo, and for some reason, the food was so much better. I got the Garlic Truffle ramen and Chicken karaage. The karaage was crispy, seasoned well, and the sriracha mayo it came with was actually pretty damn good. The garlic truffle ramen had kale, shrooms, and the best part, the al dente noodles and pork belly it came with. The broth was full-bodied and garlicky. Id order this again. I already miss it. Also, the restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing compared to the Long Beach branch.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants, and we in the neighborhood have been waiting for this particular location to open for quite a while now. It is so nice to have high quality sushi and steak restaurant next to each other. I’m sure it’s going to be very crowded for quite a long time so make sure to make a reservation if you want to come to the restaurant. You will not be disappointed by the food. I do recommend that you drink some nice sake with your meal. Make sure that you try the delicious desserts as well. If you can sit at the bar and talk with the sushi chefs, they are always friendly and usually are very colorful in their personalities. Enjoy your sushi dinner. Let the Falcon Fly!”

“A very good addition to the South Bay steakhouses. Service was excellent. The restaurant has unique design and is comfortable but is good to dress warm as they have an open door to the outside with heaters though. Food quality was better than expected since there are a few in la you worry it would be chain quality and wasn't. I had the forward passion ( take on old fashion) and bee blossom cocktails, both were good. Dry aged ribeye brushed with wagyu fat and peppercorn sauce was worth it and the sides were great, truffle fries, lobster mac and mashed broccoli. The stars were dessert, all were great and made in house they said. Cheesecake, cookies and carrot cake with ice cream. Would come back just for these desserts alone but the whole meal was great. Looking forward to coming back again.”

“Located within the Manhattan Beach Mall, this store has a great selection of quality meats, organic produce, seafood, cheese and full service bakery and deli departments. Their liquor department offers some of the best selection of wines and imported and domestic beer. With a full service sushi bar and a Starbucks inside, this truly is a one-stop shop. This location was due for a makeup on their Starbucks facility wich was finally complete late last year, it is now brand new and much bigger than before.”

“Atmosphere was awesome. Service was quick but servers definitely seemed new. Our server Lauren had no idea what was going on and dropped a glass two separate times next to our table. She was definitely having a bad day. Food was tasty but, nothing special…very normal for an upscale chain restaurant. Good option if you don’t know where else to go!”

“Esperanza is my new favorite restaurant in the South Bay, but also a great spot if you just want to meet up for drinks! The ambiance and decor is next level and the food and margaritas are delicious. They have an extensive menu of cocktails and great Mexican food. Dylan is awesome and always takes great care of us! We will definitely be back again and again :)”

“The chef/server was inviting, kind, and charismatic. Wow was the chef great and made me, my fiancé, and her friend feel right at home. The food was great too but the atmosphere is what will be bringing me back soon. The chef sat us by the fireplace, which felt amazing with the ocean breeze, and offered us to stay as long as we needed. The ramen was great. The noodles seemed to be made from scratch and the meat was so tender.”

“We enjoyed awesome happy hour starting at 3pm. All of the rolls were creative and quite tasty. Fine selection of beer and sake too with Kirin and Sapporo on tap. Given the quality of the food and super location we thought the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend!”

“Good service, great atmosphere and good food. We had a great time. I just wish they didn't put truffle in so many dishes to justify the prices.”

“This was a really spectacular dinner. The service and mood of the restaurant was amazing, the food was SUPERB. Would recommend the pineapple curry and the fried bananas with coconut ice cream, though I’m sure everything on the menu will hit the spot.”

“Almost perfect. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are in the larger side for starters. It's a little too dark for me to read the menu. The music isn't so loud that you can't carry a conversation. Servers were very attentive. I highly recommend the guacamole and grilled fish tacos. Skinny margarita was also good, not too sweet.”

“Unpretentious sports bar right by the beach. Budget-friendly food prices with free parking in the back. Handling covid-19 restrictions well, there’s an outdoor mounted tv on the side patio to watch the games and a pool table out front as well. 3-4 big heaters can be moved to either areas. Pick-up window out front for phone pick-up orders, takeout, and then front dining guests can order from there as well. Huge fan of the fish & chips, I think they’re the best in El Porto- give them a try! They’re an official Redskins/Washington Football Team bar. *Tell the bartender that Erica sent you in! I’m a local/regular and wanted to support this family business by finally writing a review.”

“Went to this location on 8.7.2020 at 10:20am and this young, energetic and beautiful black women with blonde braids helped me. She was quick to help me while I was in line for some time waiting while this women was at the register for awhile. By the time the other customer was done my order was complete and waiting for me. I wish I got her name but I really appreciated it considering I had to be at work. Your staff is amazing and its great to see customer service is still a standard.”

“We had the great fortune of joining our friends for a special birthday celebration at Slay in Manhattan Beach. It was previously the short-lived Darren's where we had dined for a birthday dinner. The company was much better than the food and after our special occasion dinner, we did not return. Tonight's dinner experience was much improved. The space had been renovated and had a bit of a nautical old world scheme. The new owner and chef served us a dinner feast which was quite exceptional. The meatballs we ordered were moist and had a subtle but well seasoned flavor. Our Caesar salad had crispy romaine bites with a creamy but not overpowering dressing and sprinkles of crispy croutons to round out the texture. My ahi was sitting on a bed of fries and was perfectly seared and seasoned, and my husband's filet was tender, moist and flavorful. His pesto mashed potatoes were very unique and truthfully just brilliantly simple and delicious. Our friends enjoyed their steak entrees as well and the desserts were also delightful. All in all, it was a 5 star understated and divine experience at Manhattan Beach's newest additions.”

“My last meal in Los Angeles on my way back to Australia. I don't think I could eat sushi back home ever again... At least until I can find a place with quality sushi like this. Definitely need to go back here.. I'm also recommending this place to everyone who visits”

“Another great restaurant that has opened in downtown Manhattan Beach!! Wouldn’t listen to all the naysayers. New restaurants always need to get warmed up. Josiah was at our table making sure all the food was perfect. What a nice guy. The homemade, table side Caesar salad was out of this world. The seafood and ribeye were fantastic. The octopus was out of this world!”
