Portion is on the smaller size and it seems like a trend of all new noodle shops now. It makes you craving for more. Drizzle some lime and a little bam of the salt to bring this bird to life! The whole menu is pretty solid. One of the family favorites is the whole yellow chicken. “I met with a friend after 5pm to try Hot Pot. It was earlier enough to beat the crowd on Friday night. We tried a mix of original and medium spicy broth with a number of cuts off beef and pork, along with some veggies and mushrooms. Spinach is very good as it absorbs the flavor from the broth and having done scallion pancakes it's a treat with whatever you are trying. The servers are very attentive and overall I enjoyed Hot Pot.”

While it is a bit more expensive than some of it's competition, it is very much worth the cost. The food is across the menu, delicious..particularly their dim sum and seafood. There are several items that are unique to this restaurant, or only found in a handful elsewhere. BTW: the Peking duck wrap is outstanding. Another item highly recommended is a purple yam filled doughnut that is unique here, and available in limited quantities only on the weekends. Expect a wait in the weekends and holidays: this is a popular place for families during these times. Like all Chinese seafood restaurants, expect a fair amount of noise..not a place for intimate conversation. On the other hand you will have a great meal and a good time. Service is typical for the genre..not the most attentive, but reasonably polite.”

“As the name implies, this restaurant is suppose to be famous for it's roast duck. On the table, they'll have the sauce ready for you. The flavor of the duck may be different than what you're use to; instead a roast duck that's flavorful and loaded with seasoning, the duck they serve here is pretty much tasteless. You get thin "spring roll" wraps with scallions and onions and sauce to wrap it. But, how the Chef can cleanly separate the skin from the meat really showcase his knife skills. I think to enjoy this way of eating requires an open mind and the expectation that this will be different. Their standard dish, by far, were the best we've had. Very flavorful, piping hot and good comfort food. As it was getting late, the restaurant went into "cleaning mode" and the restrooms were a bit in disarray. Couple of the plates and utensils we had to send back for another cleaning and the lady got upset when we ordered a bottle of the House Merlot and we didn't like it. She said we should've asked for a taste. We apologized and asked to try the House Cabernet which she replied there' no taste available.. huh? So I guess there's only a tasting for the House Merlot but not their House Cabernet...”
