Loved it!!! High quality of fish. The sushi melts in your mouth. Amazing and not that expensive. I think they don’t take reservations so it took us time to get in but it was totally worth it. Very recommend!
We sat on the bar and it was great too!
The food was amazing! I haven't seen many places which don't need to add a lot of extra toppings on their sushi to make it good. It was a very unique type of sushi I haven't seen it many other places. It was both warm and cold at the same time and you could tell they used the best cuts they could. I recommend the "Trust Me" which is apparently popular with the locals.
This was the best sushi I have ever had. I've continued to compare every sushi experience since going to this one and they have all fallen a bit short of my expectations. The fish for the sushi was extremely fresh and you could tell all the other ingredients were as well.
I would highly recommend visiting if you are ever in the area!
Can't go wrong with the trust me options. The sushi is like butter and just melts in your mouth. Fantastic service and always a wait. Wish they took reservations but they know what they are doing. It is quite pricey but if you want a fancy schmancy sushi date night this is the place. Nice place to hang out while you wait as theres a fireplace and chill spots.
I'm impressed. This place does so many things right where so many other sushi places get them wrong. The quality of the fish was good, and it was prepared well. The rice was was similarly well-crafted. Lunch for two came to $66 (no tipping at this establishment), but it was worth the price (which included parking validation for the lot on the side-street behind the restaurant). I'm glad to finally have someplace in the LA area to go for decent sushi.
