“Breadblok is gluten-free heaven!! Even if you are not gluten-free, you will love it. They are known for their delicious bread and pastries, but you are really missing out if you have not tried their kitchen menu and yummy coffees. I love stopping by and taking advantage of the outdoor seating they have right on Montana. It is the best on a sunny day! Thank you Breadblok for bringing healthy and yummy treats to the neighborhood!”

“Stopped for a lunchtime salad and WOW- so delicious! I chose the best coast salad- it was so flavorful and delicious! The ingredients seemed really thoughtfully selected, fresh, and all paired well. They're also super large salads- really filling! :) Would recommend to all!”

“My boyfriend and I recently visited California and we stumbled upon this coffee shop. The owners took the time to talk with us and were so kind to us. I love that they run the place together. They have great coffee for a good price and we even went back a second time on our trip. If you ever get a chance try the breakfast sandwich!”

“If you like sauerkraut, Pastrami sandwich will blow your taste buds out of your mouth, it’s that good! Amazing coffee, breakfast, European pastries, and custom cakes! Looking forward to my next visit. Update: visited recently and got a slice of Triple Berry Cake with coffee. Amazing!!!”

“Decent coffee but the banana muffin I got was quite bad. Seemed to have a cornmeal or overly floured crust and was way, way too sweet. They had a number of savory options that looked quite good, so if I return I’ll probably stick to those.”

“You have too many choices here, from ice cream to waffel and fudge cakes and soft cookies. I tried the cookie sandwich with ice cream and chocolate melt. It was really good but a little bit big for me since I had dinner earlier and was not that much hungry.”

“I haven't been to Panera in a long time, but it was a really nice place to be at that hour, which was right around 8:39 at night. They stay open till 10. They still have yummy pastries, and the staff is very helpful there.”

“Of course it's fast food, so good for a fast food joint. The hash browns aren't worth it, over a dollar for so few. The power breakfast sandwich is decent, I'm not a huge fan of multigrain... Adding ketchup and hot sauce made it much tastier. Then of course the coffee is delicious like always”

“We love the Nosh. Been going for many years. They have delivious bagel and lox platter, super friendly staff and all of this in a very relaxed atmosphere. This is the last real and friendly place from another era in Santa Monica. Thank you Bagel Nosh!”

“I had heard wonderful things about this place's Blue Velvet cake and lemme tell you it is to die for. It was rich in flavor and just sweet enough; and the blueberries added a nice tartiness to the cake. I paired with an ice-cold Mexican Coke and it was the best dessert I had had in a while. My friends went for the ice-cream bars and they have some pretty delicious ones such as strawberry shortcake. I wish I would've tried some of their food but alas I was only trying to satisfy my sweet tooth that day.”

“One of the best sandwich spots in Los Angeles hands down! From the bread that they use that is made fresh daily, some of the different salamis and cheeses for the sandwiches. Outside of Fresh Sandwiches they also have different Italian side dishes like peppers and sausage. They also have a full supermarket which different specialty foods. You're going to wait for your sandwich no matter when you go in, Pro user tips there are pre-made sandwiches on the left side of the store! You're welcome!”

“My first meal in LA after a long flight. I went there on Saturday morning without reservation. There were many people there but still had a table for us. The atmosphere was nice and comfort. The food was great too. The price is a little bit high though.”

“I've lived in LA for 20 years. This place makes the best bagels I've had since I moved here. I have New York friends who have admitted these bagels are really good. What more proof do you need?”

“Asher made me a single shot flat white with soy milk and it was heavenly. Milk texture was perfect; it was silky with micro foam and poured elegantly with a smooth espresso shot that had excellent crema and the drink was just at the right temp! It was just warm enough without it being anywhere near burned. (Side note: You’re able to see them craft a drink because the machine is exposed to the customers, as well). I literally drank my drink in two sips and that’s coming from a person who rarely drinks coffee. These people are truly cool cats with cool style and fun / unique personalities, who enjoy working there. It’s truly a treasure and it makes me feel like I’m somewhere in Brooklyn, San Fran, Seattle! Love these guys.”

“Lovely and extremely friendly service! Great for quick stops to go or you have the option to stay in for a relaxing conversation over coffee and pastries. Not too small, and definitely worth a stop. I greatly appreciate their down-to-earth business without all the fancy frills. Simple and delicious.”

“Nice vibe, delicious food, prices are high, however what we ate was excellent. One breakfast burrito with bacon and a banana nut muffin for $22. Also, needed to use the restroom, which seemed more like a nightclub; dark and dingy, then a hipster restaurant facility.”

“Its Ben & Jerrys!! Few preservatives...REAL ice cream! many flavor options. Personally, I like ice cream served on a cone because I like licking the ice cream; sadly, here they no longer serve sugar nor cake/wafer cones. Your only option is waffle cones, or cups. Also, you can only buy a small =1 scoop or large=2 scoops .”

“My go-to place for comfort food. They have WiFi so I get my work done while looking out at the beautiful Santa Monica daylight and the sidewalk cafe’. This place is my bliss. *random factoid - Uplifters Ranch nearby this cafe that bears the same name, was founded by L. Frank Baum (Writer of wizard of Oz) and several other entertainment luminaries. It was an eccentric lot of creatives and moguls of their time . They hosted theater performances and enjoyed many nights of celebrations & debauchery.”

“Good flavor choices and best selection of toppings on the Westside.”
