“I love this place and food here: they have pretty good menu with a variety of noodles, toppings and broths. Their tofu appetizer is the top. And spicy beef ramen is my #1 choice. They also have a convenient parking and some outside seating. I honestly never made a reservation, but sometimes they might get busy and you'll have to wait.”

“It was very pleasant in here and the chicken burger was very delicious! Daria (the worker) was very sweet and even offered me a coffee on the house. Really cool spot to go, have a bite and a coffee with a friend, or if you want a spot to get some work done. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Breadblok is gluten-free heaven!! Even if you are not gluten-free, you will love it. They are known for their delicious bread and pastries, but you are really missing out if you have not tried their kitchen menu and yummy coffees. I love stopping by and taking advantage of the outdoor seating they have right on Montana. It is the best on a sunny day! Thank you Breadblok for bringing healthy and yummy treats to the neighborhood!”

“This Starbucks is kinda hidden by the Santa Monica pier. There's seating inside and on their patio. There were two baristas working, one was a trainee. They were both friendly and the service was excellent. Like most businesses at the beach there's no restrooms. There's also no outlets for working. With the wonderful service I'd return in a heartbeat when I'm in the neighborhood.”

“Best food I have eaten since the pandemic began. The drinks are also extremely well crafted. It is amazing. I have never eaten mole like this. I wanted to lick the plate. It was so good that I went back with my boyfriend the same night for drinks. I wish I lived in LA only for this place.”

“This place is amazing! I'm from the east coast so we were travelling in the area and had to check out the Halal food scene. The place is about 5 min away from Venice Beach (20 min walking) so super convenient to visit an iconic spot and not have to worry about finding a place to eat later. We ordered the Z Dog, Truffle Burger, Mushroom Burger, and Urban fries. The Z dog is huge like lots of fries, bacon, ground beef, etc. You have to get yourself messy to eat it but it's worth it! Truffle Burger reminded my brother of the whopper which is interesting. I had the mushroom burger which was nice too, love how they added lots of avocado underneath. And the fries were really good too. It is a wait like we had to chill at the place for about 12 min or so but it's definitely worth it. I also love the outdoors seating area, and the staff is really warm and receptive. We took a while to order and kept changing our mind, but the staff was super chill about it. We couldn't finish some of our food and the server wrapped it up for us nicely. I highly recommend you check this place out for any American style cuisine. The food is 100% halal and grass-fed, you won't be disappointed!”

“Stopped for a lunchtime salad and WOW- so delicious! I chose the best coast salad- it was so flavorful and delicious! The ingredients seemed really thoughtfully selected, fresh, and all paired well. They're also super large salads- really filling! :) Would recommend to all!”

“Coffee is good. I wouldn’t recommend ordering he breakfast burritos unless you like whole wheat tortillas and don’t mind a long wait. The employe was nice enough but pretty checked out. They forgot to bring out one guys açaí bowl for a while and when he got it they told him he should’ve asked about it which seems audacious considering they forgot it and made him wait. Worth a try but probably won’t be back”

“Leaving a 5/5 review because our server, Ricardo, was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere and drinks were good, but he made our experience at Sugar Plum. So accommodating, informative about drinks, and in great spirits. I know 6 people will frequent Sugar Plum now solely because of Ricardo. If you decide to go here, request his service!”

“My boyfriend and I recently visited California and we stumbled upon this coffee shop. The owners took the time to talk with us and were so kind to us. I love that they run the place together. They have great coffee for a good price and we even went back a second time on our trip. If you ever get a chance try the breakfast sandwich!”

“If you like sauerkraut, Pastrami sandwich will blow your taste buds out of your mouth, it’s that good! Amazing coffee, breakfast, European pastries, and custom cakes! Looking forward to my next visit. Update: visited recently and got a slice of Triple Berry Cake with coffee. Amazing!!!”

“Decent coffee but the banana muffin I got was quite bad. Seemed to have a cornmeal or overly floured crust and was way, way too sweet. They had a number of savory options that looked quite good, so if I return I’ll probably stick to those.”

“Wow if this isn’t the coolest coffee shop in all of Los Angeles. Everything about this coffee shop is design heavy the first thing I would check out is the clock that is behind the counter super awesome! They had some basic outdoor seating and some comfortable couches inside we decided to sit inside the presentation all the coffee is great I had the cold brew and liked it but I feel that their strengths could be another drink choices but I will definitely be back. Parking does look like it could be limited to the street but we did park in the lot outside on the weekend but I guess you’re not supposed to park there. It seemed also the menu had a good selection of food and drink options so I have to come back and explore that as well”

“Excellent service! We arrived a little past breakfast time and they still accommodated us. Food was excellent. Since coffee was out being it was late they were gracious enough and told us we could go to the Starbucks next door and get coffee if we wanted to. Then one of them came over to Starbucks to ask how we wanted our eggs because we forgot to let them know. We got back with the coffees and they brought over our plates. I highly recommend Salt and Tart.”

“This place is so good! I was walking by and smelled the food so I walked in. I’ve never had hummus before but I was willing to try something new and I’m glad I did. The staff is super nice and very informative. So far I’ve had the bowl and the wrap. The lemonades are good and interesting. They have so many different flavors. I recommend the passion fruit lemonade and the turmeric and ginger lemonade. I’ll be coming back again. It’s good clean food”

“Lovely cafe with an amazing community of regulars. The food is fresh and prepared with care. The staff is very friendly and it's clear they're treated well by management. It's easy to become a regular with so many delicious healthy options and such a warm and welcoming crew. The casual atmosphere is an amazing throwback to the time before Santa Monica outgrew it's quiet beach suburb vibe decades ago. I love the casual Aussie Beach vibe that reminds me of the Santa Monica I grew up in.”
