“The chicken is really tender and juicy, and the flavor is delicious! My only 2 (minor) issues are the slaw and fries. The slaw is very creamy, but needs more flavor, pretty bland. I LOVE that the fries are hand-cut in store, and you can definitely taste the fresh potatoes compared the the frozen ones, that need to be over-fried to compensate for being frozen. I think the fries could use a little more salt, or some kind of seasoning (Cajun?). The 2 women that were there on my visit very very kind, and super helpful with how the menu/ordering works. I'll definitely be coming back though. I have been wanting a fried chicken sandwich place like this in Whittier for a while now. We finally got it!”

“Generally this place is solid. I appreciate that they have gluten-free options. The only issue is that since it is a more independently own place and they focus on presentation to some degree, the wait can be long to get your food. Ordered take out a few times and it was good. Mostly food quality has been spot on with only a few times things like curries kind of missing the mark a bit. I used to drink the Thai iced tea like no one's business.”

“This place used to be Double or Nothing pizza. Now it's Pikey's Pizza which would've been fine but the wait was extremely long. Called in my order and got here a few minutes early. Waited an extra 15 minutes for 2 pepperoni pizzas and wings. It shouldn't have taken so long for 2 one topping pizzas but this place was extremely understaffed. I used to love this last pizza company. So sad...”

“As Whittier being my hometown this olive garden is the one i visit the most. This evening i came as a party of one and was quickly seated which was nice. My server was named Carlos but i must say it was clear to see that i was his last table to be sat before he went home. Unlike all the other guest i wasn’t offered a complimentary wine taste like usual. Carlos was tad bit quiet and didn’t mention any specials to me. Luckily, i overheard the specials from the sever who was helping the table behind me. After she assisted her table i asked for her to give me a list of the specials and she did. She checked on me occasionally even though i wasn’t her table which i really appreciated. After her checking to see if i needed a refill on my drink i had to get her name because she was doing an excellent job at not only taking care of her tables but taking care of me (Carlos last table). I was eventually then transferred to Natalee. So thank you Natalee. I was having a hard day and you made all of the difference. I hope next time servers who are about to go home don’t get seated again because it’s not a good feeling when you feel like your server is eager to leave while you’re just trying to enjoy your dinner.”
