“Classic Shell gas station. Seems like a well stocked mini mart food and other thing. Over priced as usual for convenience stores. Service for the most part is very good, just don't have complaints because then things move at molasses speed. I had lots of trouble with their car wash not working right, mostly at the beginning. Now the car wash seems ok.”

“A quintessential taco shop. It's just pure. Everything is working together in harmony and worth pairing multiple items. Chicken verde soup is a standout, but everything was exceptional.”

“Ordered the carnitas burrito plate. The carnitas tasted more like a pork stew than regular carnitas. The construction of the burrito was one of the strangest looking burritos I've ever seen(See the photo). The two salsas with the chips were very mediocre, the one salsa had too much of a vinegar taste to it, like it was pickled. The food wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. Everything about the food here is mediocre across the board. The iced Tea was awful, especially at a $4 price. The service was good, but the food is just lacking. Food tax and tip cost $24, too much to pay for mediocre food. I do not recommend this business”

“My husband and myself we are so glad that old Tender Tenders is back as Cruicy . The food and especially the chicken crispy tenders with fries and sauce are the best . Inside it’s so clean and nice renovated with new appliances but they need the name outside . Thank you to the owner to reopen this place .”

“Betzy's Tacos is an absolute must-try! If you haven't been, you're seriously missing out. Their burritos and nachos are fantastic, but let me tell you, the Quesabirria is a game-changer! The staff is not just friendly but genuinely welcoming, and the best part is the menu won't break the bank. I can't recommend it enough - go give it a taste!”

“Organic bakery in the heart of San Rafael. I came upon this cozy cottage looking place when I got off the beaten path of 4th street. Worth finding! Coffee and hot and cold sandwiches available but the variety of baked goods was so creative … I went for the sweets… the banana Meyer lremon bread/cake is a standout. And I loved loved loved the whole wheat very muffin. Incredible flavors and healthy ingredients! Yay! . I no longer have to be sad that Arizmendi is gone from the San Rafael scene. What a gem…. They even have an upright piano and a children’s books and game corner. I’ll be back!😊”

“Such a beautifully decorated dessert shop. They make really good coffee, and even better desserts. I’ll definitely be returning to try other things on the menu.”

“My boyfriend and I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with their delicious food and friendly service. I ordered the house clam chowder and my boyfriend ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with garlic fries, and I have to say that it was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The chicken pesto sandwich was perfectly toasted, and the pesto was packed with flavor, complementing the juicy chicken perfectly. The garlic fries were crispy and flavorful, and they were the perfect side to the sandwich. The portion size was generous, and I appreciated the fact that everything was made fresh to order. The clam chowder was creamy and savory, with chunks of tender clams and potatoes in every bite. It was the perfect comfort food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who made me feel at home. The service was prompt and attentive, and the food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh.”

“Stopped into this place after a soccer game and the coffee tastes exactly the same as all the other Peets I’ve visited. And to clarify, that’s a good thing. The seating area is large and parking wasn’t hard at all. I wish they had more than one small bathroom at the back of the store because there was a line even though the shop was mostly empty.”

“OUR NEW FAVORITE PIZZA! I’ve been here a few times now and can’t express how delicious this pizza is. Everything we had was mouthwatering - and fresh ingredients and the sprouted grain dough meant I felt amazing after instead of heavy and bloated. My husband and kid loved it too and the insanely low price (seriously where can you get a gourmet handcrafted pizza for less than $10) is wonderful! I have to watch my sugars and this didn’t spike it AT ALL. If you’re looking for diabetic friendly or low glycemic food that still tastes amazing this is it. Also recommend their rice pudding, which is more European style and like a custard. Their frozen yogurt is incredible too! Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a hidden gem tucked in a busy shopping center with lots of name brand options but go visit if you can!! The owner is really kind and generous too, and took the time to explain everything and topped up my daughter’s pudding before we left just because. ❤️”

“Super friendly service, fast and best of all YUMMY. AUTHENTIC mexican and also for those not into authentic, they also have a localized menu. Highly recommended. I got the 3 servings of tacos with all 3 differents meats they serve. A great way to start my day!”

“A nice addition to the local cuisine scene. Let me start by saying this is more like a Vietnamese/Chinese Fusion spot. But it's still good! The Food: Overall, I liked it! I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (which I was surprised finding something like this at a Vietnamese place). I was a little suspect but it was lovely! The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked but also not undercooked, the sauce was not overpowering and complimented the flavors & textures of the dish. Of course the celery and peanuts added the crunch that you like to have to offset the beef and chicken (It was a combo plate). That with a side of rice and and an Elysian Space Dust made the dining experience really enjoyable. My wife got the Beef Pho...because Pho. She liked it but she made a comment that it was a little heavy on the cinnamon in the broth. I found that a little interesting. My daughter had the same but kids size and she doesn't care as long as there's noodles involved lol. Again, because Pho. Ambiance: The location used to be a druid hall and it's in one of the oldest buildings in downtown Novato. However the new owners really cleaned up thee place. It is narrow and deep layout so lots of booths on one side of the entry/mid section and more seating in the rear. If your in the front/mid area you will be right next to the kitchen. My family and I don't mind the noise and activity because we're all foodies. If you are sensitive to that kind of stuff maybe the back is more your jam. Service: Very attentive. We had 3 servers and they were ON IT!!! I think we ordered and I only had 2 sips of my beer before my plate showed up. Of course the plates coming out were staggered but I didn't mind and the differential between plates coming out wasn't bad. Location: It is downtown Novato so expect terrible parking at times. However as stated above, I think it's a great addition to the local community. In closing, I'm glad La Maison De La Riene is here. Some of the local asian cuisine isn't great. In the downtown area you have great options next door for Thai, Sushi and Indian. Other than that, other offerings are lacking and I think this will fill a void nicely. Give it a shot and let me know what YOU think!”

“I've been going to Peet's for several years now. I'll admit, when I first tried it I thought it was way too strong, and the mochas (my favorite gourmet choice) tasted like licorice. Weird? We'll, as my palate developed, I started appreciating the Peet's flavor profile, and I've been ordering from them since. The people are really nice, and my orders are consistently excellent 👍👍👍 If you're ever in the Novato area, please stop by and enjoy your mocha ☕”
