“With the good reviews I expected more. Service was slow. Our soft drink lacked fizz. My burger was fine but a little under seasoned. The French dip was good. It was evening on a cool Spring day and they had doors opened and it was very cold. I think there are better options in Ukiah.”

“Home made biscuits and gravy. That's all you need to know. Getting actual sausage gravy from a restaurant, not canned or mix, is really difficult to find. Take it from someone who's Mama raised him on homemade southern cooking, I know my way around some biscuits and gravy. This is nourishment for the soul.”

I ordered some take out and it was made relatively quickly. it was around 40 dollars for three containers of REALLY good food. and now I'm set for around 3 days because the portion size is so good. “Came here when I was a child in 90's during Buddhist camp. I can still remember the smell of fried sesame oil in the air. In my memory, it's one of the greatest, most nostalgic thing I've ever eaten. I'm hoping to come back here one day so I can try the vegetarian sweet and sour pork with rice again.”

“The best pizza on the coast and beyond. Come watch the sunset, sit out on the deck or benches on the pier, grab a slice and a pint or pizza after a surf. Family friendly, dog friendly, friendly service! Excellent brick oven pizza, fresh ingredients, great salads and snacks. It's worth a try, you won't regret it!”

“I went here with my dad, his friend, and son. We first get to our table with a great view of the water and then we order our meal and drinks. After about 20 minutes, only the one beer came out and our other drinks did not. Had to go back in and mention we waited. My dad gets his clam chowder in a cup, hardly any chowder. My dad wanted a coke. Again, he waited for nearly 15 minutes and didn't receive it. I understand the place was understaffed and a couple of young ins were working, but could have mentioned the shortage and then we would have been more patient. 2 stars for service, 3 for food, and 5 for the great view. Overall, 3 stars for this review.”

“The prix fixe menu is beautifully calculated so that virtually all dining preferences are catered for. The food is fabulous, and the wine list versatile and appropriate to the cuisine. We were especially grateful to the proprietors for finding a way for us to have a wonderful dinner and still get to a concert at 7:30. A truly memorable experience.”

“Jessica was our server. She was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the spinach salad, ceaser salad and Hanger steak. All were prepared to perfection. They made sure my allergies were addressed. Overall we loved this place. We feel the negative reviews are unfounded. This could be because they were so brand new. Give this place a chance you won't be disappointed.”

“Stopped by there yesterday for late lunch/early dinner, staff was friendly and got quick service, I ordered the shrimp Fajitas, nice serving portion, large delicious shrimp and plenty of it, good tasting sides and corn tortillas! Some times is hard to find good tortillas when you have grown up eating authentic Mexican cuisine. Price was very fair as well. I travel a lot but if I come back to this neck of the woods I will definitely stop by again!”

“Gorgeous space, wonderful service and excellent food. I dined here multiple times while staying in Point Arena, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The space is warm and inviting, and the live edge wood bar and tables are gorgeous. You can make a reservation for the dining room, but they keep the bar available for walk-ins. The service was attentive and efficient, especially from co-owner Elyse, whose passion and knowledge made the experience. The beer and sake menu is impressive and well-curated, I enjoyed all of the selections recommended to me. They also have several local wines on the menu for those that prefer it. The menu rotates seasonally based on availability from local farms and purveyors, and everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. All the dishes are shareable small plates, and the portions are perfect if dining alone or for ordering to share with a group. My favorites were the “addictive” cabbage (it really was!) and the karaage fried chicken (it’s not to be missed!). If you’re in the area, Gama is a must try!”

“The Alley was a great experience. I was in town for work and wanted to find a local spot. Polite, engaging employees. Clean restaurant. Unique menu. I got the Dumpster Burger. My friend got the Alley Chili Cheese Dog. Tots all around. The burgers buns were AMAZING!! Pepsi products. Quick service. The dining room was small. The price was a little steep, but worth it for the experience.”

“Going to Lisa's is technically luscious. Pick up her handmade soups, jams & condiments! Why make soup by hand when hers is soo much better! Great to grab on the way to the beach. Add some organic, locally grown fresh, and I mean fresh veggies and fruits from the prettiest and best stand in town. A place not to be missed!”

“I had asked for chicken tamales as my first choice when ordering two tamales, but they were out so they sent me the pork tamales. I’m so glad they were out of chicken - now I love both varieties. Great tamales and taquitos and guacamole.”
