(February 19, 2019, 8:33 pm)If you’re traveling to Carmel in the future, make reservations at this place a couple months in advance—there’s only 9 tables inside.
Everything from our super knowledgeable and friendly sommelier John, to the quick and impeccable servers that danced around our table like ninjas, to the care and attention to detail put into each unique course (there were 14), to the romantic coastal ambience, made this whole experience worth every single penny!

(December 6, 2018, 2:40 am)The food overall was amazing. The service was great too. Was disappointed though when they brought us burnt wagyu. We had initially asked for 4 oz. We loved it so much that we ordered more. When the second round came in it was burnt on the edges and raw inside. Not rare, raw. Everything else but this was absolutely perfect. Sad they couldn't replicate the wagyu dish, didn't expect that.

I called ahead and asked for a fully plant based menu and in zero advance (same day reservation) they surprised me with a 8 course tasting menu, and wine pairing which was absolutely mind-blowing! Of course pricey, but totally worth it!! Very nice and skillful staff. I loved every bite, sip and minute of it! Thank you ❤️

Each course is exciting and uses ingredients in a delicious way that makes you appreciate the effort and time the kitchen and staff has devoted to each plate. I recommend anyone who wants an intimate dinner and a meal you will remember for a long time to check out this restaurant.
