“Good food made quickly. I brought my two kids here mainly so we could play at the Play Place. Play Place was closed "because of the weather" even though it hadn't rained for two days. And they wouldn't open it when I asked. Also, there's no changing table in the men's room.”

While the breakfasts are a little pricier than some other places you might find, the food quality is worth it, and the service is great. Unfortunately, I have to cut a star. Sitting near the kitchen all morning, it was not uncommon to hear the odd curse word come from the kitchen staff. I'm used to language of that sort, but PLEASE know that you can easily be heard by your patrons! A family sitting in our place would not have been pleased.”

Our risotto piscatore was savory without obscuring the flavor of the various seafood within. With the crisp garlic bread and light, tender calemare, we had no room for dessert.”

“I Have eaten soup, fresh bread, and great coffee here on many occasions with a small group of friends. The inside of the bakery feels a bit like a grocery store, but the quality of food, drink, and service help me overlook that. Organic, Vegan, Gluten free are all options here (lots of choices, not just one or two). Be careful in the busy Safeway/Center parking lot.”

“Great coffee. Great pastries. Deli can get a little slow but that is pretty much standard in Grass Valley it seems... Staff is always friendly and there are some delicious premade food options in the cold case. Ample parking is shared with the nearby bowling alley. A spot can usually be had pretty close to Summer Thymes. Sticky buns are amazing!”

“I've only been here one time. I ordered an apple Danish, by far the most amazing one I've ever had! Reasonably priced. I checked out pretty much everything they sell and everything was priced fairly. They sell whole pies so if you need one for the holidays I'd say this is the place to go. It was clean and nice inside. The employee who helped me was nice as well. I definitely plan on going back!”
