“This new barbeque place in Grass Valley is incredible!!! We tried the ribs, brisket, chicken and pulled pork. Everything was great, very high quality!! The brisket, ribs and pulled pork are the best that I've ever had, so juicy and flavorful!!! The chicken is very good too. The owners are such nice people, I'm definitely going back soon. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.”

“Newer Mexican restaurant in Grass Valley. They do alot of to go orders. I got 2 street tacos for 3 bucks each... .wallet friendly. They also have a children's menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly outside. They have a salsa bar...not big but you do have some choices. Warm chips as well. I did not see beer or wine on the menu. This is a very casual place to grab a bite to eat!”

“I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. Not a 3 but also not quite a 4. I’m giving it an “average” rating because there are some things to improve. I’m hopeful that as time goes on the kinks of opening a new place are worked out. I will definitely return and try again, but there’s room for improvement. The service could be friendlier and faster. The food itself was good. I’m excited to try a few different things - their frittatas (as opposed to traditional omelettes) and their “Baskets” sound interesting.”

We offer to paynifnits extra and they say yes when we ask if it's in the bag and get hone to 1 bag. Church's are always raw in thr center. Not sure if they're trying to deep fry them frozen?”

“Two visits since they opened a few weeks ago. Love the exterior and how clean everything is. Ordered a Dave's Double with Frosty both times. Outstanding beef on the burger, very fresh. Fries hot and fresh. However, both times I also ordered a kids hamburger PLAIN for my elderly mother who likes her food PLAIN and even though I was explicit in my order requests the burgers were wrong and no plain either time. I've also noticed the window personnel, while not rude, seem indifferent. There are obvious training issues here which need to be addressed. Otherwise, this is a great addition to the Grass Valley "Burger Basin".”

“Thed first time I ever heard of pasties was while travelling in Northern Michigan. They are a filled pocket meal that was eaten by the Welsh miners. I was surprised to find pasties in California, but again, the miners. We stopped at Cousin Jack's in Grass Valley for some pasties to take home. We chose four different fillings: Pot Roast, Beef, Corned Beef and Greek. A label on the bag had heating instruction that was ideal. Don't microwave. The Pot roast was delicious.”
