“Good seafood! This place gets compared a lot to The Boiling Crab, which is a well known chain that has a similar menu. I think The Kickin Crab is just as good. You get a big bag of seafood cooked in the spice blend you want. There is also a menu of more standard entrees like catfish. The mussels and shrimp are very good, and you HAVE to get an order of the corn cooked the bag with the spices and seafood. If you want to eat a lot of good seafood and don't mind getting your hands dirty, give the Kickin' Crab a try.”

This restaurant might be hungrier than the guests... you'll be rushed to a seat and appetizers are being pushed hard before you have a chance to see the menu. With better trained wait staff and a remodel, this place could shine. Currently it's just average with several better options nearby.”

For a burger made of plant protein it was, well, a Whopper pretty much as I might expect. If someone had hadn't told me, I would not have known it was a veggie burger. Kudos to Carl's for their willingness to try this on their menu and getting it pretty darn right. Kudos to Beyond Meats for getting that veggie burger pretty darn right. “Haus of pizza servers up some excellent pie! Had dinner here when my two youngest kids. Ordered a tasty antipasto salad which delivered quickly and then had an extra large pizza (so we'd have leftovers for lunch tomorrow). The restaurant has been around over 30 years and will likely continue to serve up amazingly delicious treats for years to come. If you are up for trying a new pizza location in Costa Mesa you should definitely give this place a try.”

“The drinks are good and they have a wide selection. They employees were nice and helpful. However, the chicken pho was the worst I've ever had. The broth tasted like warm water with very bland flavor. All of the toppings (basil, bean sprouts, onion, jalapeno, and chives) were all in the soup already instead of served on the side as I'm used to from other restaurants. I immediately took out the jalapenos, but thought it's something that should be disclosed because if you have a food allergy and you don't expect the toppings to already come in your soup, you might not think to ask them to remove something. There were huge raw chunks of onion that were hard to eat like that. The meat didn't look good and was very chewy and fatty. Plus, my favorite topping that is aIways served with pho is lime, but they don't carry any! I was very dissatisfied with the pho and didn't eat much of it. I would still go back for drinks and maybe a different kind of food... Or maybe just drinks. :-)”

Too damn expensive I just wish they would have specials that would allow me to eat there more often because I love their food unfortunately the prices are way too high for what you get.
