There was a belly dancer and music playing and the theme of a fusion of different cultures from Spain and North Africa made for not only a unique visual and auditory experience but one of some of the most tasty food I've had! “We've gone to the one in Irvine a few times now so when the Costa Mesa one opened up it was natural to go. They had only just opened and we were the first ones in but they got super packed within twenty minutes. We shared the lamb and flat iron meat and both got the spicy miso soup. The hot drops even with just one drop was super spicy for me. The meat was tender and the vegetables were very fresh. I would say that this is one of the best Shabu places that we frequent. There's something about their sliced meat that others can't top. The service was superb and everyone in the restaurant was so nice and friendly.”

“Not bad. I had the Oyster Po Boy and tomato soup. The sandwich was good, except that they didn't bother to state that it was covered with pickled cabbage (the menu states "cabbage"... nothing about picked, or even that it's placed on the sandwich) and I'm not a fan of pickled things. Also, the tomato soup is quite spicy... I love spicy foods, but my wife couldn't eat hers.”
