“It is so nice to have Rye Goods in Laguna Beach. I used to go to Newport location to pick bread. They have one of the best bread in Orange County. Their country sourdough bread is divine. They bake their bread and pastries fresh everyday using organic high quality flower. They dont have gluten free items but I can handle their rye bread without issues. Pastry items are also super tasty, baklava croissant is something to try. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about their products. There are indoor and outdoor sitting area. Parking is paid street parking and can be hard to find during busy times. I highly recommend this place for fresh bakery lovers. Price is on the higher end.”

“Very nice little spot here in the The Pantry! I think they are affiliated with Sapphire - the popular larger restaurant next door. But this spot has its own charm, and is open early! The staff is kind and friendly. Proactive and quick! The food is pretty tasty; but a bit small in terms of the portion for the price. But enjoyable! The coffee was middle tier. The avocado toast was very tasty, but a bit small. Lovely outdoor patio overlooking pch and glimpse of the ocean. Very nice! Dog and kid friendly! Tons of options inside. Wines, pastries, prepacked, fresh to order, etc.”

“This place is great stay but the golf rates are little crazy. The rates have increased for the second time in this past year alone. It use to be 45 for a weekday then it was to 50. Yesterday the rates were increased to 55 for a weekday and it went to 65 for a weekend and that’s all day rate no twilight. It was great spot for 45 being a 9 but now easily I would play a larger course less!!! Sorry but this gem is now gone!!!”

“Ordered a French Cru off menu that was excellent. Wine is hit and miss due to the shipping backlog. Octopus appetizer was perfectly prepared. Had the surf and turf which was also perfectly prepared, but lobster quantity was on the small side. Dessert of chocolate cake with a mousse and ice cream was excellent especially when I could substitute strawberry over raspberry. Overall I was very pleased with this meal. When you get the check there is a line item for non wait staff that they will reverse if you ask (about 3%). I took it into consideration when I added the tip (18% instead of 20%).”
