From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and friendly smiles of Luisa and Gladys, who made us feel right at home. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and the salsa bar is a delightful addition. The food at The Taco Stand is simply amazing! I couldn't decide between the carne asada and the polo asada, so I ended up getting both, and I'm so glad I did. The flavors were incredible, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. It's no wonder we loved it.. it’s amazing the Manager Evelio stopped by to say hello; it’s the team members at The Taco Stand that are something truly special. Even though I've been to the Costa Mesa location many times, this was my parents' first visit, and they were blown away. They loved how fresh and clean everything was, and they couldn't stop raving about the delicious food. “In a world now full of hot chicken options, Dave’s is at the top of my favorites list. I am obsessed with the sliders. I always add cheese and one is enough for lunch. Those fries are magical and I cannot figure out why. They’re crispy and soft at the same time until the bottom of the box! The manager, Joey, is awesome and the staff is great. Clean restaurant, good food, plenty of parking. Hard to not go alllll the time!”

“I found this place on a whim and I'm glad I did. I got the lamp rack "kabob". This was a plate of lamb chops and I got hummus and salad for my sides. Yum! Everything was so well seasoned and the proportions were great. I will definitely be going back and I absolutely recommend. The people there were really nice.”

“I was always a big fan of the restaurant that was here before Green chile cantina. I’m happy to say that a lot of the same things remain. However, now we have a lot more Mexican food options. A couple items of the menu I liked are no longer there but a few stayed on. This review is for two trips. One where I got the chicken club flat bread and the other I tried a new menu options (Rolled Enchiladas). Both meals were absolutely fantastic and I’m glad we got to watch football while we ate. Friendly wait staff and the new owner is on the ball. Excited for my Next visit. Update, I got enchiladas to go and it holds up 💯”

“My photo does not do the food justice, unfortunately. I ordered the Hippie Bird and added chicken. Healthy. Delicious!! Filling. The service is excellent. Yesterday was my first visit, and the staff was so helpful. They let us sample a sauce along with a few fries. We were sold on the first bite. Highly highly recommend. “A little pricey, but really delicious food. It's a big name chain found at malls pretty much everywhere. In the Mission Viejo Mall, it's across from the food court, not in it. I recommend the pretzels. They make pretty much everything right on site, and right in front of anybody who's watching. Their lemonade competes with that of other, similar places.”

It’s a small family owned restaurant with both sitting inside and outside. There are enough parking in the front. We always get additional pastry to go. They bake everything fresh.
