The chicken is of the best quality, moist, and that crispy coating wow! The cabbage is nice, the pickles are excellent, great bun buns and this was delivered. Imaging eating this piping hot in the restaurant. Yes they are pricy but they are quality and not to be missed. I ordered one spicy and one original, think I liked the spicy one better but can't be 100% sure, I was on a chicken sandwich high and my judgment could have been off. I'm shook over here. The location is great right on the main thoroughfare street going thru Newport Beach's Balboa Peninsula. Their takeout & delivery is famous, fast & efficient. In the summertime it is non-stop pizza action for both the local residents & the beach goers that visit the area. Always fresh ingredients & consistently good quality. I am getting hungry just thinking about it now. The owner David is a great guy & always loves chatting up with the customers there, especially the great late night crowd that stops by there for the world famous Late night slices. Laventina's is a household name in the community & for those visiting.”

“This place will get a five star rating except for one reason only which I will describe at at the end of my rating .Great tasting food that is extremely fresh, the salads extremely tasty and while the pizza is awesome though I've only had one sample. The friendly servers are more than adequately getting things serve to you on a timely manner. Now for the reason why doesn't give 5 stars this place is very expensive we're talking $10 for a small salad and a medium drink minimum though the location kind of explains itself. Eat up!”

“We had a delicious lunch at Z Pizza! We are from out of town and were walking through the plaza trying to find a place to eat, and met the owner, Luis. What a genuinely friendly and generous man!! We enjoyed a delicious pizza and great conversation and stories with Luis. Our daughter was so happy they had such a yummy gluten free pizza - those are hard to find!! “Update, currently shutdown due to rain damage. But crust is getting thinner, 2 weeks ago on last vistit, requested to have thicker crust similar to their advertisements and in store pics, they said they can't make their pizza with that much crust. But still good pizza. Usually a five star, but today the slices are "sad", super thin crust and half of the slices have burnt crust on the ends. When you look at the slices on the "if you crave our pizza, we crave your Yelp". Those are good looking perfect thickness pizza, and not dark/burnt crust. I had a turkey sandwich instead, which was good. As I am typing, they are burning more crust, nothing like the smell of burnt crust.”

“My friend and I work nearby and just went to give this place a try. Absolutely loved it! The food is amazingly good and very fresh and healthy. The environment is quaint and comfy. We split the Brie sandwich and went straight to heaven. If it is available I highly recommend it! I also got the passion fruit tea which was flavorful and sweet but without being too sweet. We LOVED the chocolate mousse and lemon cream. We will definately be back again soon and will be bringing our other co-workers with us!”
