“Finally had a chance to try this place and it was fantastic. Was completely tricked by the simple look of the outside. I was expecting a really small hole in the wall with little to no seating. I was completely wrong because they have plenty of seating along with a side patio. The food was very tasty and my chilaquiles had a very crunchy tortilla at the bottom which remained crispy to the last bite. I will be going back for lunch but be advised that they do NOT do dinner. This place is highly recommend”

It is so cramped, that someone backed into my vehicle, scraped it, then left without saying anything. Either it's a normal thing or they just don't care. “We found this place on a whim while visiting Newport Beach. There were so many other locations to chose from, but this place looked so good we just had to stop by! Their menu has a good selection of food and drinks! We ordered the house fried rice and garlic noodles with fillet mignon. Not pictured here is there Vietnamese coffee. The food was delicious!!! It took awhile to come out, but when it did we were very impressed. The fillet mignon was suuuuper tender, juicy, and flavorful! The garlic noodles could use more garlic, but it was still good. The fried rice was a little salty to me, but my bf thought it was fine. I'd definitely order both again! The portion was pretty big. We both couldn't finish our food and had to take it home. The Vietnamese coffee wasn't that great. It tasted more syrup than coffee. I was disappointed because I was expecting the typical strong Viet coffee with condensed milk. The location is very convenient. The beach is right across from it! It's a smaller restaurant but when we went there were tables available and the line was not too long. There is a bathroom but you need a code which could be found on the top of your receipt! Overall, the food was delicious, good serving, and cheap! I'd other both again, but definitely not the drink!!!”

“Love this place! There is parking across the highway and you can either take the shuttle or take the path under the highway to the beach. We always take the path as the walk is nice so I'm not sure about the shuttle. Be sure to bring your parking ticket to get it validated. Purchase of $15+ at the Beachcomber means you get 3 hours parking free. It gets busy so go early or late but there will probably be a little wait. Not to worry though you can walk along Crystal Cove beach while you wait with your buzzer.”
