Johnny Costa's Ristorante

I'm not normally an Italian foodie just because it always seems like I'm on a diet... But I'll tell you what, for my first dip into it in quite a while... It was amazing!! Great service, polite, and professional and the food was mouth watering. The tomato bread at the beginning is ridiculous. I got the chicken with capers (kept close to the diet) but wanted more. Great wine, great ambiance, and a great dinner. I'll be back.

Nice people, good service. Food was reasonable, but nothing exciting. They took my fork off my starter plate and put it back on the table, but took my knife. Two requests for a new knife went unanswered, so obtained one from another table. Just an FYI. Cutlery never goes back on a table after it's been taken off it.

This place is utterly amazing. Antipasto, minestrone, veal, pasta....sublime and amazing....sauce like mama made all day on Sunday. I cant say enough. Make reservations and be ready to wait on dishes this is NOT a hurry up place. You're gonna be here a while no matter the night, but completely worth it.

Perhaps a bit on the higher price end but warranted. Waited 10 minutes even with a reservation. Food and service were excellent. Long wait for food but were advised of this ahead of time and it very good.

Always excellent! My family and I have been going to Johnny Costa's for decades, ever since they were at their Desert Hot Springs location. The food is consistently excellent with wonderful specials and a wide selection of menu choices. Also a very good wine selection. Recently remodeled, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff who do an excellent job. Family owned and operated restaurant. Love it!!
